The reason to play butterfree in gyarados is that caterpie can search for friends and thin out the deck, then butterfree can be used as a shield and pivot back into something with its low retreat. But yeah the ability to remove 2 cards from your deck with caterpie is huge. Also the butterfree with another potion and blue helps a lot I guess. Also caterpie is safer to use when there are so many Druddigon around aswell as moltres
The idea of marshadow in the golem deck is that druddigon dies, does 20 dmg, then marshadow can deal 110 dmg with gio, kills a full HP mew, starmie, celebi, arcanine , pikachu, zapdos. I was running the same deck couple days ago and the Druddigon marshadow combo is really brutal into the meta. Marshadow Druddigon also works with stuff like alakazam or pidgeot Ex
Noticed that the Golem guy didn't got matched against a single Celebi deck, its already a huge positive RNG besides all the others that are included in the game.. Its hard to evaluate stuff in this game since every match we have a insane ammount of Coin flips, but its a list to give some attention indeed
I think that partly because Celebi has and will continue to see a large decline in play - The meta is being dominated by set-up & sweep decks, where Celebi has an ability to play like a tempo deck, it's setup is just overall inconsistent as are it's frontline attacking options. Celebi will likely fall below the 5th most played deck slot over time.
That's because any element of pvp is laughable. This game can not be taken seriously in any way when talking about its pvp. The game is strictly a luck based game to aid non-competitive players to still have a chance at winning matches. Don't think so hard on this game other than wanting to collect cards for your collection.@@PocketMads
the butterfree is not only to heal its most use is the caterpie to search the deck and thinn it and having 3 cards instead of greninja having 6 it makes guarados alot more consistent well if you pull out greninja early ofc its going to be better but its less reliable over all
I knew it would eventually win. I had been experimenting with it since the 1st golem came out but drudiggon adds so much stall and chip damage for any deck that it just made it all come together
I smashed my way to 50 wins in the event with ArcanineEX/Rapidash/MoltresEX. Pokemon has always been very coin flippy, but there is a large number of decks that can be very successful, which is super healthy for any game with so many cards and many more on the way.
I think the coin-flip rng aspect of the game is actually important as well! It gives non "meta" decks the ability to win sometimes through rng (: Its good for the casual playerbase!
I played against this Drudd/Golem deck last night and scoffed because I thought noway it could be good. I ended up winning with my own Drudd/Dragonite deck. But its cool to see people innovating and making Golem work.
I love this gsme so far except that the RNG is just overtuned to mickey mouse levels. The devs need to stop implementing meta mons that rely on being a coin flip simulator, its just bad for the games health. If it ever wants to be taken seriously, stop with making pokemon like Celebi amd Misty where you just win with no real strategy. I think it will over time as more sets come out, but they had to have known the ridiculousness they brought with Mythical Island and Im confident they will make corrections for the next expansion. My favorite deck so far is Mew/drudd/Greninja, no coin flips and all about finding your checkmate scenario

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT?! Were you surprised by any of these decks?
Finally a fighting type deck won!!!
LETS GOOOOO
And it's a non ex deck too 🎉

@@Cryptoholic-g7p First time playing a card game? 😂
Grass doesn’t matter because the frontline has no weakness or it’s weak to psychic

@@probablyanotherfun yea definitely pretty niche but it seems pretty cool (:
Listening, I can actually feel your rush getting this out ^^” Nice to see folks correctly identifying Gyrados ex’s weakness quick ^^

120 is a sweet spot number for an attack. With Druddigon it fixes a lot of the math

Where and how do you get into one of these "tournaments"?

You just play one match try it 5 times and you will see what dis deck do and became top1
Druddigon makes MANY different decks viable - and I think that's awesome (:
Told ya not to sleep on char
> Golem deck
Ummmm hello? Based department?

I for one - find the meta analysis/strategy and deck building aspectt of Pokemon TCG Pocket very fun (: Thanks for watching!!!
If you think the game is so simple that there is no room for a skill gap, you are just bad.
buddy here missed one too many coinflips
