    The clothesline mechanics look very similar to Fedor - style casting hooks, a little simplified. Love this, will drill

    “We mortals”, Bas definitely isn’t a mere mortal. Every time he hits that pad it sounds like straight up murder.

    Don't know if anyone mentioned it here but a clothesline is a straight arm going into your opponent and a lariat has forward movement. The lariat is swinging the arm, it sometimes curls around your opponent from the impact and a clothesline is held straight.

    I love how he speaks so calmly to the viewers then turns round and turns into a straight wilder beast when he's striking the pads 😅

    +OfficialBasRutten Bas, you are an international treasure and a great role model! We want you around for a long time.
    I don't know your experience with the Speed Bag, but as you (and I) age, learning to "play" with it - even to music - will help your neck and shoulder, etc. Take a look. Most of my "remarks" will lead you to SpeedBagCentral & SpeedBagForum where you can learn it all for free with folks who love to share. Would love to have your "system" but must get rid of the Foosball table or piano first. Best. :)

    So exactly what part do you hit behind the ear? Do you hit the skull or the neck, or a bit of both? I imagine I might break something if I hit purely the skull with full force.

    Jesus of Nazareth!!! Tried a clothsline on my heavy bag...first try i nearly hiperextended my arm the second just plain hurted...does anybody know if this is normal? Is there a way to condition my wrists in order to hit this in a more effective way?

    • @ggstatertots
      @ggstatertots 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gil Almeida Bend your arm a bit and like with muay thai kicks you might just have to build up your arm bones

    • @Supbrozki
      @Supbrozki 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure you keep your arm bent so you don't hyperextend. And same as kicking, you will condition your arm to the clothesline by just continuing doing it. But it will hurt a bit at first.
