  • Finesse drop shot rig! It’s a popular technique for bass fishing. It also works well for saltwater fish like Bay Bass, Croaker, and California Halibut. This video would show you “how to rig” and “how to fish” using the Finesse drop shot rig technique!
    Long years ago, the genius Japanese angler, Haruhiko Murakami introduced this unique rig. At that time, this rig was called Tsunekichi rig (常吉リグ). The rig brought up a big sensation in the Japanese bass fishing scene and soon came over to the U.S. And now, it’s called the drop shot rig and is recognized as one of the must-to-know techniques for modern Bass fishing. I'd say Haruhiko Murakami is a real genius who has changed the world of fishing.
    Let’s check out the video!

    As the owner of 4x G Loomis rods, i wholeheartedly agree with your statement. They make some of the nicest rods on the planet. I recently bought a Loomis drop shot rod

    The Drop Shot Rig dates back to the 1980s. Originally translated the Lucky rig. Fished on lake Mead in a BASS qualifier by a Japanese Co-Angler. There have been many adaptions since then but the basic weight on the bottom hook-up has not changed.

    Thanks you for answer😉🐟

    • @AnglerWaki

      Could be the same. But for saltwater, this light setting can only work for the quiet condition.

    Really love your videos... But i have a question, what's the hook size that you used on this video or generally what's the size hook that you use for drop shot??? Also, what's the worm size?

  • @seriousmechanicing

    Great video, nice bass! I have three questions, how long in cm or inches the fluorocarbon line after the swivel? Also do you tie the swivel direct to the nanofil or do you tie a leader to the nanofil and then attach a swivel and the fluorocarbon for the rig? Finally, I really like the boxes you have for the hooks, are they available in the US? Thanks!

    • @AnglerWaki
      @AnglerWaki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I usually have 5 cm to 10 cm from the swivel to the hook.
      I've never tied anything directly to the Nanofil. Nanofil - fluorocarbon leader - swivel - fluorocarbon leader (drop shot rig).
      All the plastic cases are from Target, Michaels, and Jo-Ann Stores. 👍👍👍

      Thank you for stopping by. I know Perris is a great lake. Not sure it's good for bank angler like me or not, though. I'm hitting around the LA to SD area checking Google Map. Still looking for the good quiet spots. So many people in SoCal is my big problem...
