The tense start of the song would probably be when the player would be given the option to seperate. 0:00 - 0:13. But then 0:13 - 1:12 would be the slow process of the player disconnecting from Kris's body. I'd imagine it'd feel like a large amount of pressure in your chest that's slowly lifting. Then 1:12 - 1:26 would be Kris actually being able to stand up and walk around completely freely. (Time to save this for an animatic idea-)

The player would be given the option of, "Disconnect from vessel?" The player would choose "Yes" and they'd be given the option of, "Are you sure? This action will be permanent." Again, the player chooses "Yes". Kris clutches their chest and grips their bed for a split second at 0:12 - 0:14. Then during 0:14 - 0:53, Kris's eyes would go completely white, as red strings on their limbs revealed. The "Disconnecting..." screen pops up as all the strings on Kris limbs get slowly cut one by one. Then at 0:53 - 1:12, all the strings around Kris's limbs are cut, and Kris passes out, their eyes closing, and they fall back onto their bed. Their soul shines and one more string appears on it. Memories of Kris's life flash in front of our eyes. Then, the final string on their soul is cut at 1:12 - 1:14. And then during 1:14 - 1:22, Kris sits up. They quickly stand up, glance at their hands, and they look up and smile. We can see their eyes for the first time too. At 1:22 - 1:26, the screen goes black, as the "Disconnection complete." screen appears. And that's where it ends! Hopefully I'll make it lmao.
I like to imagine Kris faking out their friends at first by doing something out of character then showcasing their restored freedom, as a prank, to prove its really them again.

COME ON, [[little sponge]], LET'S SHOW HIM WHO IS ACTUALLY [[pulling all the strings]] *And phrases from other secret bosses.* And the fiercest battle begins with the help of the forces of all those who were deceived by the final boss.
Inb4 Kris dies 20 minutes later sacrificing themselves to save the world because despite being free of our influence, they still can't live without a soul, and it's really sad because after that when Dess comes home she asks how Kris is doing and Noelle just bursts into tears, both in joy because she's finally found her sister after like 8 years and sorrow because one of if not her oldest friend literally just died so she feels conflicted and angry at herself for having seemingly normal emotions but still for wild circumstance to "ruin" the idealised reunion Noelle had dreamt of. And with all but the last tears soaking her sweater, she realises that she now has to help Dess live in a world without a loved one, that the roles have been reversed, an eye for an eye, a soul for a soul.
I imagine Kris is falling from the sky then the secret bosses come out cutting Krises strings until the shadow crystals appear and cut the last one severing the players connetion
