I’ve never tried this for myself, and I’ve been spoiled by modern rhythm game patterning conventions. But I have heard of this song and chart’s fearsome reputation. As someone who can do DDR 17’s competently and pass them, I don’t know what I’m in for with this song. Any ITG vets care to give pointers?
It may seem a bit awkward at first but in the original release there were different perspectives you could mess around with that help out slightly with songs like this. many people played it on 1.5x hallway instead of overhead which made the fast part easier to read. Personally I got my first pass on 1.5x space and never went back to play it again lol.
If you're playing this in ITG or Stepmania, unlike in DDR's engine, the 'jump cheating' window is much wider, so you can hit one note a 16th before the other and it'll still give you a fantastic. This lets you treat a lot of the ending as 'streams that start a note earlier', for example.
I wonder is ddr would ever implement shock arrows but on a single note instead of all 4. Or give other patterns like a “staircase” pattern. Something that is like mines but not quite like it.
This would be a X-scale 19 The first DDR 19 is Valkyrie Dimension which is from 2011 Vertex^2 is from 2005 It took that maby years for Komani to make a chart that match the difficulty of Vertex^2
OMG! I got it!

You may not like it, but this is what peak dance gaming looks like
probably the hardest ITG official chart too 100%
i think there's been more vertex 2 quads than euphoria quads though

Now the real question is...
Why hasn't Kyle just come out and say he's ZiGZaG
@@vistastructionsquadrillion dollar question
@@vistastructions Kyle revealed the identity of ZiGZaG years ago. I don't remember his name but there's a pic on his Facebook.
@nathantran-trinh3086 I saw that but I think that's bullshit

Can’t believe Chris actually quadded this song. Actually I take that back. It would be Chris who would quad this song eventually. Okay Chris…
Happy Feet (happyf333tz) quadded this song first but Chris did quad it later.
@@jasonmartinez5116 you’re right! Still can’t believe people can still quad this song!
#Yes
Playing this on an upgraded 3rd Mix machine makes it a 14
Nice lv 18 harf
I need to see the hard chart. I can FC Medium, but I need to see Hard. You know what? Do Medium, too, it's considered a 13 on the X scale.
tmw yuisin uploads vertex^2
DDR X-scale 18?
Definitely upper one at least, it's like danmaku dancing
It's a 19
@@YeungMoni It's between 18 or 19, depends how you can avoid mines. I'm leaning towards 18
Depends, because shock arrows are more life depleting than mines. I think either a very upper 18, or an entry 19.
Lv. 18
are the freeze arrows at 0:23 on supposed to be wadats/switches??
You could, but i’m certain they expected you to twist and double step fast
…I’ll stick with the likes of Egoism 440.
