Hi Marlene. Thank you so much for your honest reviews. You are the only reviewer I've seen that has pointed out Cruise Control is NOT 100% hand tied. I get so cranky when reviewers call a partially hand tied wig fully hand tied when it clearly isn't, so thank you so much! 😀
So much respect for your honesty in your reviews! Love these but my head is too large. Gorgeous color - I’m not a fan of RW stock photos, or those of many companies, you truly do justice to every wig you put on. I feel silly, but I don’t always know what box hair is - I can’t recognize it when it’s pointed out in reviews.
@@connieclark3562 I've been wearing wigs since 2024 and although some wigs are wonky here and there straight from the box I'm not sure if box hair is just hair that's messed up from sitting in a box so long or something else.Eileen, maybe some day you can explain , show and tell us exactly what box hair is and how to remedy it. I've heard some people say that the best way to remedy box hair is by giving it a cool bath??? Not sure if that just means rinse it in cold water and let it dry on a wig stand as you would if you were washing it??? Maybe you already have a video I'm not finding?
Thank you so much, Connie! Box hair is when the fibers are crimped due to them being in the box for a long time or the manner in which they were placed in the box. The fibers appear to be bent. As Sandra mentioned below, the best thing to do when we receive a style and it has box hair is to give it a cool soak. No shampoo, just cool water. Let the wig sit for about 5 minutes, then wrap in a clean towel to remove the excess water, and hang to dry. Finger comb it into place (don't comb or brush a wig when it's wet), and allow to dry. xoxo Marlene

As always, I love that you take the time to give us an honest review. That's one of the reasons why you are my favorite reviewer. Cruise Control is gorgeous on you but would be too short on me. I figured out today why I need a 13-15, or 16, inch length. My forehead to chin is 8". From my chin to my collar bone is 5" (I'm 5'9"). So 13" would fall just below my shoulders. Shorter just not look good on me. You are fortunate that you can wear so many lengths. Thank you for taking the time to share these with us.

Even though I'm not as tall as you (I'm 5'4"), my face is 7.75" long, it's wide, and my neck is 5" so wigs tend to appear shorter on me than on some other reviewers although not as short as they would appear on you. It's so important to take these measurements into consideration when purchasing a wig; it took me a long time and lots of $$ to realize why wigs appear shorter on me than on other reviewers. Hello Marlene, I very much appreciate your honesty regarding every wig that you review. It’s extremely helpful and important to be aware of the pros and cons. 🌹 I purchased an Editor’s pick and 2 Upstage’s, back when I was still relatively new to my wig journey, and all three are the “hand tied” caps that you are showing us here on the first one. I have the exact same problem with the front to back being too too short. I don’t feel as secure while wearing these wigs and it’s a shame because they are beautiful styles. I would have to take a pass on both of these new styles, but only because I already own styles that are strikingly the same, but in a different brand. I do, however, think the colors are absolutely gorgeous. 😊 Thank you. 💕

I like the first one, cruise control I think it was, very pretty. But I just got Pretty Please which I think is somewhat similar, and I won’t be wearing her until it cools down here in Arizona. I love RW wigs, but the density on them makes them very seasonal for me, living in a hotter climate like I do.

I love it but it won't fit comfortably on my 22" noggin! I love the density. I enjoy a little density on my wigs. Flash Forward would be better for me and I'd add bangs if i bought her.

I'm not kidding when I tell you that you saved me from making a mistake from buying a wig that would've been too small on me. I wish other reviewers would give all the facts. Seems that they're not as much interested in giving us reviews from a neutral point of view as they are in selling wigsWhen I realized this, i became disappointed. Hi, no I did not trim the lace and never have on any of my synthetic wigs since they all arrive with precut lace. When I do unboxing videos, I show exactly how wigs look right out of the box and anything I do to them. I hope this helps. xoxo Marlene

Do you trim the lace around the hairline?
