My opinion and views in this video was called into question by the maker CS about the price or the fact that the belt was discounted. I was NOT advised when purchasing the belt that it was 2-4 years old, was their old art and had issues. CS should be openly transparent with this fact when selling these kind of belts. With that said, the fact that the belt was "discounted" or "old", DOES NOT change my opinions expressed in this video at all. As with nearly all of my reviews, pricing is never a factor in my opinion of the belt nor discussed in the video. Even if a belt was given for free, I will give an honest opinion on it. The price paid for the CS belt was $925, the GCB belt $650. CS offered me $50 as a refund for some concerns I brought up and wanted to make me change my comments and this review. We don't take bribes here. If you disagree with CS, they will defame you and post one sided stories about you. The video stands!
After seeing this video I see no reason to wait a year to 2 years and pay double the price. Great video man. It’s a good contribution to the hobby

You are a clueless maker. You all have poor business sense. The price of the belt or the fact that it was discounted wouldn't make any difference in the comparison. Your products are a poor value proposition when there are plenty of other belt makers that can make a comparable or better product. Whether your belt was a brand new copy, it would have failed in this comparison. Its not worth $1000+ more than any other belt. You should spend more time making belts and answering your customers DMs regarding their belt orders they have been waiting 2 years for. And about the waiting period. GCB was able to craft a better product than you in just 3 months while your belt would take 2 years to produce and be more than double the price. Theres is no value in your product. Its time for the hobby to rid ourselves of you and your shady business practices. You can try to silence other belt makers and you can try to silence other content creators, but you will never silence me. No other belt maker would go around offering bribes to make people change their mind about what they think. End your trolling and BS business practices and learn how to improve.
CS belts are not worth the ridiculous wait time nor the prices! Other makers are catching up and real soon surpassing CS quality. Whether you pay $1 or $1000 they need to let the buyer know of anything that is wrong with this belt! If this was my belt I would do what The Rock did, throw it in the river!!!

The GCB one looks like their polishing process needs work. Lots of micro scratches on the belt compared to the CS. The CS version plating looks better to me.
Fair assessment
You can definitely see the difference in the etching. The gold plating does seem a bit more shiny in the CS but it could be the use of a clear coating. And owning 2 GCB HD belts his etching is definitely deeper and very crisp! And the GCB upgraded leather is amazing as well. Great comparison review brother!!

There is no clear coat.. it is pure gold plating and plates are around 3 to 4 years old still the gold is in excellent condition.. that belt was sold on half of the price because the plates were old and were in stock

@ClassicShields I wonder why the plates were 3 or 4 yrs old! Those plates are nothing special and that leather....that leather was crap!! Other makers for this prices offer the whole nine yards and better quality!! With all this great makers getting better at the art of belt making its only a matter of time when CS is a thing of the past. Bottom of the barrel history! Clock is ticking for you guys!! You guys really opened lots of eyes with the shitty situation that you guys put yourself in! Tick tock tick tock......times up!!!

Don't people only go to Classic Shields for the WWE version of the Big Gold?
Pretty much the best thing they have going for themselves right now but a few other premium makers will be rolling out improved 3D big golds soon that will be more accurate than the CS one... they say 😉

The 99 version is actually the same as the 98 version, isn't it?
98 version is the block logo with blue strap. 99 is the gold scratch and gold logo plate and 2k is the white scratch logo and black logo plate.

When I sent people I asked “which belt is better”, pricing or who the maker was, was not not even disclosed to them until after they made their choice and gave feedback on the belts in the pics I shared to them

I did not see him complain in the video. Seems like an honest comparison to me, showcasing the pros and cons of each belt.

My Gosh. I got quotes for an old school WWF Winged Eagle (Pre Attiude Era) from both CS and GCB and the price from CS is more than twice as much as GCB for the same specs (HD with 24K) with a 4-6 month wait time where as you probably wait 2 months at most with GCB. Thanks for the video comparing the quality between the two companies! It is a no brainer decision!
CS real wait times are one to two years. The only people that get belts in 4-6 months are their fanboys.
