Streetball has the spirit that you Will never find in the league. NBA is an huge industry and And1 a discrete sport brand. they had them in the ropes during 3 Summers 2002-2005. Then NBA adopted the fiba and european regulations and the ballers were limited.
I grew up in Tunisia, North Africa, and watched this mix tape somewhere in the early 2000’s. I was like 12-14. It was this video and video game called: NBA street vol2 that got me to play basketball. Then I moved to US in 2005. Man, I never forgot this video. Brings a lot of memories.
This was my life for like 10 years (that moment at 14:00 with hot sauce I think I watched 1,000 times and when I actually preformed that on the court live during a game and the guy that was defending me turned around the whole gym exploded!!!) what a time to be alive! Memories And1 thank you
This mixtape changed my LIFE‼️ I remember my brother and his high school team huddled up in our living room. He told me to go the fuck upstairs. I sat at the crack of the ceiling and hand railing and watched. Fell in love with basketball and it took me everywhere in life!
I had a friend who lived down the road who had all the original videos in VHS, we watched these all the way through JV and varsity basketball years... the good old days!
Thanks to these mixtapes, I was exposed to real rap at an early age, and it help me ball a lot better. They show made a lot of dope songs for these tapes. And1 and real hip hop is something we will never see again.
