Does the parking mode work out of the box, I've heard you have to buy accessories to enable it on other models but haven't heard anything about this one?
For parking mode to work (on any dashcam) you require a specific hardwire kit for that model. Settings are then changed via the app or unit itself
Hi I wanted to ask does this disconnect from the holder at times if i just want to only disconnect the camera only as it is just for car inspection requirements?
Yes correct! The unit easily separates from the strong magnetic mount as required
@aussiecams is there an option to choose which camera views you want recording at one time? So can I switch off the interior recording but leave the front and rear going/ vise versa?

Hey @mattcasabene6442 via the app yes you can! In resolution - there are different configurations i think about 5 or 6 from memory 🤔 can even just record front camera only

Have you tested the E3? Would you recommend the N5 overall over the E3?
Haven't tested the E3 (think it's 2.7k 3 channel) but we have road tested the n4pro 4k 3 channel dashcam and it's the best in the range!

I would firstly check if you are running latest app version. We are talking the N5?
It's a shame they don't build a single channel with this tech. I was looking just the other day at their offerings and was disappointed to see that all the latest tech was only in their multi-channel models. I honestly think I would get one if it didnt come with the other cameras.
In the last 6-9 months or so the starvis2 has been the go to with most manufacturers. The global chip shortage throughout covid shelved many projects in the industry. Im sure there will be something around the corner to cover most markets with newer tech

Thankyou @mustafa_akay we have only reviewed one of the units the vantrue n5. You would need to consider which one has the most features you require. The vantrue n5 has 4 cameras, other selections there have 2 (front and back) i would consider the 3 most important things you need and go with the model that meets your criteria. I can recommend one thing, go with a dashcam that has the new starvis2 range of sensors at least for the front camera, the clarity is exceptional!

Vantrue de Türkçe dil seçeneği yok maalesef. Vantrue sitesin de Nexus N5 için olumlu ve olumsuz yorumları okuyorum. Ayrıca kameranın mobil uygulaması da kullanışlı olmalı.

it would have been great if rather than cabin these cameras could be pointed to left and right (outside the car near the front doors) and could provide 360 degree video.
And till now, none of them exist (with 360 view feature) and I am quite disappointed.
That's what I am looking for as well. Wanted it with good brand name along with quality, bought one on Temu, the quality is bad, barely see the number plate on front camera when driving. Keen to wait they make good one !
IN YOUR FIRST PART OF THE INTRO YOU MENTIONED THIS UNIT HAS 3 CAMERAS. IE ,, FOREWARD .. INTERNAL AND REAR. IN THE SETTINGS YOU HAVE SAID THERE WERE 4 CAMERAS ?? WHICH IS IT . where does the 4 th camera face , please explain....
Please timestamp in the comments where i said it was a 3 channel dashcam? IT IS A 4 CHANNEL DASHCAM as indicated by all the footage and graphic demonstrations in the video
You didnt watch the video before commenting did you? Not only is there footage of 4 cameras, the app shows it has 4, aussiecam says 4 the thumbnail says 4 and si does the title. You are obviously trolling
