Is this the end of Galactica at Alton Towers..?

- It's no secret that for a long time now Galactica has needed a lot of TLC from new theming to general maintenance of the ride, especially a pressure wash. During the winter it has a fairly lazy wash and left people question what's next for the ride? With a brand new Forbidden Valley and the ever so new and talked about 'Nemesis Reborn' only a could of feet away, is it time for Galactica to go?

What are your thoughts? What would you like seen done to Galactica? 🎢
More added space theme, like portals and planets, a repaint of the track (keeping it the same colour) a better preshow, a station redo and the story would be that Galactica is the hero from different dimension fighting nemesis (which is an alien/beast from another dimension)
So it’s like a new enemy to nemesis that isn’t the phalanx but a better version, so like the hero’s

Never thought about the possibility of another beast fighting the nemesis creature. That is actually pretty cool. I rate the creativity
@@BrzndzVlogz yeah I think the space theme is pretty cool and the red and blue clash well in forbidden valley, also I think space themed rides have lots of potential for different storylines so I think they could really get creative with Galactica

Galactica is underrated I think, it’s one of my favourite rides at the park, it’s unique
Unique I'm not sure but underrated I agree with. Just needs some better theming, and i think it would get more love
Expect either a demolition of that ride which will obviously be an expensive investment or a retheme which will be more cost effective for the park.
I definitely think the latter is more likely. Honestly cannot see them having the spare funds for a complete new coaster. With all the other project on the go :) still exciting! 🎢🎢
I feel like they would retheme it, I wouldn’t imagine them tearing down a secret weapon which has been open for less than 20 years, and it is also a fan favourite. I think we can all admit though, it is getting a bit rough nowadays and it doesn’t fit with the theme of the area now. I would imagine that soon, when it turns 20 or something, it’ll have a complete retrack like with nemesis.

I personally disagree about it being rought but do agree its themeing is out of place
@@gamingandcraftswithlogan8714 It has been open 22 years. Nemesis was retracked at 29 years old so it should have a few years left...

What if they slowly spread Nemesis reach throughout the valley. You could have flesh and veings on the arrival of the skyride station etc. then launch Galactica as the weapon to control the now out of control beast. Change the vr programme to have guests fighting the creature
I pretty much list most of the ideas you've just commented in my video :) Also the ride doesnt have VR anymore

ive been with you from minute 1 on this idea, mainly because of how underrated and overlooked galactica. you could argue im biased with galactica as it was my first major thrill coaster but really think they should make the most of what they can with the transformation of forbidden Valley. great video as per usual brands 🎉
100% agree with galactica being underrated. Has so much potential, especially if they get the theming spot on which we've seen they can do! 🤩 fingers crossed it wont be long 🤞
Imo, Galactica Should Be Re-Painted I Also Like Your Idea On The Nemesis Fangs Should Come On To The Ride And Also How It Should Be a Rescue Misson! W Video Can't Wait For Morreee
