Did you know that if you fill every spot in the planters inside of the greenhouse that insects like butterflies, Luna moths, torchbugs, etc. will spawn in that room? It makes the greenhouse a great compliment to an alchemy tower. :)
I just love Skyrim, it’s such a peaceful game and so creative. Like you could literally get on and spend all your time just doing things around whiterun
Dude the exterior walk around was NOT pointless. I was literally looking for videos of the exterior because I want it for my wife and kids in the game and be more residential. I like the Winstaad the best. NICE VIDEOS MAN
When you convert it to an entryway it takes out the beds, cooking spit and dressers. It adds some display cases, weapons racks and trophy cases. Basically the small house is exactly that, it is supposed to be a small home if you can'g build the whole estate. But when you complete the rest of the big home, I think it looks better to convert the small home to an entryway. Hope that helps.
Thanks. I had a whole series going of the different properties you could build in the different areas and this was the finale. Skyrim is a blast, there are endless possibilities of what you can do.
So that's where the Quarry Stone is. -_- I was looking all over for it. Thank you so much. I was also having a hard time find the Clay deposit, but my House Steward showed me where it was. lol
I was looking all over for the quarry stone mine then I realized it was in front of the carpenters workbench and I felt like a complete idiot for not noticing
Glad I could help, thanks for watching. I think the trophy room looks really cool when it is completed, but I get lazy when it comes to building the trophies lol
Helljarken Hall is the perfect 'man-cave' location: enchanting tower, trophy room, and armory. I use Windstad Manor as a farm: greenhouse, alchemy lab, library/kitchen. The one in falkreath is the family home: bedroom, storage room, library/kitchen.
Exactly. I use Windstad manor to store my stuff because thats where i grow most of my pot and create potmethcoke. But lakeview manor is the coolest imo. Its on a lake, first off, and it has more beds so you can have more kids.
Heljarchen is actually good to have the kitchen in because you get flour from the unique grain mill. I don't see the point in storage but the armory is kind of cool if you don't want a kitchen. Good to have a tower so you can get on the roof and have a good view, but generally it's pointless having enchanter/alchemy when you can have it in the main hall.
Glad the video helped. My character had a lot of gold, so it didn't take me too long to get all of the supplies I needed to build the different houses. If I didn't have all that gold it would have taken forever.
Hello. The bedroom wing is the only option for additional bedding, and this will allow you to move in your children. There are additional beds upstairs for staff quarters and the default master bedroom, but for a family you must build the bedroom wing.
+Canadian Badman Or perhaps you have too much pride to admit when you make a mistake. Either way, you don't lose eyesight when you are drunk and if you were sober enough to coherently respond then you weren't too drunk to read proper English.
No problem, thanks for watching. This one was a little more tricky since it is behind the work bench. When I mine for quarried stone I just go Rambo with one Pickaxe in each hand.
Haha that's how I felt when I initially found the quarried stone! I looked all over for like an hour trying to figure out where to mine or buy it, then I just walked up and it was right there lol.
Nice, glad I could help. I'm really surprised how many views these vids have received for the 3 Hearthfire properties. I know it was hard for me to find everything, that's why I made them. Did you just get the legendary edition?
I like the Hearthfire homes, big enough to feel cool, but not so big it is a waste of space. Breezehome is really nice, and it is right next to a forge and several merchants. The only thing I don't like about it is that if I ever want to enchant anything I have to go up to Dragonsreach.
Thanks. Ya I spend most of my time around Whiterun. It is pretty cool what they allowed us to build, but there are definitely more things we would all like to do. That's what PC mods are for :-)
No you have to go back to the drafting table and remove the wing you don't want and then add and rebuild the wing you do want. So at the drafting table remove the alchemy tower and then draft for extra bedrooms and rebuild it. Anything you spent to build or furnish the wing you remove you will lose, FYI
The mail is for grinding wheat for if you put in the baking furnace I have all these houses I like this one the best closer to the Giants to fill up your soul gem LOL
Could anyone tell me who they have as a Housecarl in this house please? Because i have 1 for each of the other 2 houses but cant find anyone for this house.
I wish they hadnt made the halls look so sinilar. Wouldve been cool if they all had different shapes and rooms. But its the same shape with a coupledifferent rooms
Oh dang well that sucks. You are maxed out now. I heard in the new DLC, Dragonborn, there is a villain that will hunt you like a mercenary if you are level 81. He is in all ebony armor and is really hard to kill. Read that today. Are you xbox, ps3 or PC?
Its cool to not finish the greenhouse, It will leave you with a great porch. My home is complete by being left uncompleted. start the green house, but stop after placing the logs for the walls, Don't lay the walls, gives the great porch.
um I may not know you and you may not know me but I need help, skyrim won't let me play it keeps booting me off or kicking me off and I don't know how to fix it, so can someone help me, find me on facebook if you guys can help slove the problem

The lady that sell me lumber just got eaten by a dgragon
LMFAO thats unfortunate
Michael Bourke go to a guy in river wood, I can't remember his name tho but you will find him
The lumberer in Riverwood 's' name is Hod. His place is behind the Riverwood Trader.
Theres a lot of sawmills in the game. Theres one in riverwood, there are many small sawmills around the map you can buy lumber from and yeah.

lol same
Glad I could help, thanks for watching. I think the trophy room looks really cool when it is completed, but I get lazy when it comes to building the trophies lol
I looked all over the Outside . But it was literally Below my Nose . Because of your help , I subscribe :D
that planting stuff is pretty cool, nice video dude
I looked all over that area and never found the stone. Thank you!!

Hi, this estate is located south of Dawnstar and southeast of Morthal. I am pretty sure it is in The Pale.
Glad the video helped. My character had a lot of gold, so it didn't take me too long to get all of the supplies I needed to build the different houses. If I didn't have all that gold it would have taken forever.

Hell-ar-ken is how I as a Nord (Swede) would say it... :) I was lvl 63 when I started building it.. :) Storage, Greenhouse and Library. :)
+Canadian Badman Sweden is a Scandinavian country
+Canadian Badman Or perhaps you have too much pride to admit when you make a mistake. Either way, you don't lose eyesight when you are drunk and if you were sober enough to coherently respond then you weren't too drunk to read proper English.
+Canadian Badman Go for it eh
+Canadian Badman Dude you are fucking ignorant.
now boys, behave
The library and greenhouse are my favs. The Books in the game are really cool
The Grain mill is used for making sacks of flour , I just started making this house since Lakeview manor is to dangerous to live in , Great video.
Yes finaly! I watched at leased10 vids and this is the only one i have seen that is with the house near whiterun!
Thanx. I just wanted to know where the hell the stone deposite was. I ran around like a maniac, and it's right behind the workbench XD
Really helpful, I chose the Library, Alchemy And Trophy Room
No problem, thanks for watching. This one was a little more tricky since it is behind the work bench. When I mine for quarried stone I just go Rambo with one Pickaxe in each hand.
Nice. The weather is much nicer there for sure.
Haha, glad I could help. Thanks for watching
omg! rutdog thank you so much! I can't believe the quarried stone was there the entire time! xD
Glad I helped, thanks for watching! I have a new Skyrim mod video coming out tomorrow or Thursday.
Haha it's all good. I appreciate you checking out the videos and for subscribing. Thanks!
Thank you!!!! I really couldn't find anything and it took me ages to build my house but it needs one more thing
Can't wait for this to come out to ps3, I only have skyrim for ps3!
I m on Level 31 and have built only the small house...Just got married.. This whole house looks great but needs some serious gold.. Grrrr!!
Hehe, so does getting married too.... :)
Welcome to mtv cribs..
Thank you very much for these 3 videos of showcasing the houses, ill now watch the other 2 and then sub
Ok
Finally a video that actually help's. Thank you
Thanks ! I know that is how I felt looking for it the first time. It's right there but I couldn't find it :-)
Thank you for showing the querry. I think this is one of the worst things in Heartfire, that it is so hard to finde those :)
Haha that's how I felt when I initially found the quarried stone! I looked all over for like an hour trying to figure out where to mine or buy it, then I just walked up and it was right there lol.
Some of the best info on this subject! Thanks!!!
I totally agree. The only thing I don't like there is right below the house toward the lake is an alter. I keep finding evil mages near my house!
same bro, the lakeview manor is the best with the weather and lake
Nice, glad I could help. I'm really surprised how many views these vids have received for the 3 Hearthfire properties. I know it was hard for me to find everything, that's why I made them. Did you just get the legendary edition?

You have to go back to the drafting table and remove what you have that you don't want, then you can build the wing you do want.
thanks. I looked everywhere but where I should have. :)
in skyrim the the j sounds like y so it would sound like hell- yar- ken
Scroll down and it looks like rutdog is talking to himself for a couple years.
Every playthrough I use the restoration glitch with the melee damage enchantment on gloves and I always slam heimskrs head in the ground
@@ryry5545 Whiterun isn't complete without Heimskr
Grain mill can be made to make flour. sacks of flour can be used to make bread or other flour based food items
Thank you for the help.
Omg i could never find the quarried stone i looked for 30 min could never find it so thank u
I felt so stupid for not noticing where it was the whole time lol
I actually did the same 3 wings on this house.
No you have to go back to the drafting table and remove the wing you don't want and then add and rebuild the wing you do want. So at the drafting table remove the alchemy tower and then draft for extra bedrooms and rebuild it. Anything you spent to build or furnish the wing you remove you will lose, FYI
Thank you so much I could never find Quarried stone
I had that same problem and I said "what am I doing, I'm such an idiot"
The mail is for grinding wheat for if you put in the baking furnace I have all these houses I like this one the best closer to the Giants to fill up your soul gem LOL
which mod do you use for the stone walls? looks awesome
Could anyone tell me who they have as a Housecarl in this house please? Because i have 1 for each of the other 2 houses but cant find anyone for this house.
When does it become possible to create the child's bedroom?
Very cool video, is this Skyrim?.....is it for the pc or a console?.....thank you for posting.
Wait!! How do I obtain all the furnishings for my house???
No problem, glad I could help.
Hi, thanks! Nope this was on XBOX and now I have a gaming computer so I play Skyrim on PC, better graphics and tons of mods!
I wish they hadnt made the halls look so sinilar. Wouldve been cool if they all had different shapes and rooms. But its the same shape with a coupledifferent rooms
The grind mill you get flower from grinding the wheat but you probably already know that
Anybody have the list of all the material needed to construct and furnish this home?
what does converting house into entryway do? i did it and didnt notice any difference. thanks if someone can tell me about this.
so is that better than the windstad manor
What hold Is this in? I would live to know
Isn't the iron ore deposit at 1:34?
How do I remodel my house? I have everything completed but I can't install the enchanting tower. Why is that?
Can someone help me, it won't let me get the planter in the alchemy room/green room.
Oh good, so the house shapes in all three locations are the same.
so wich plot location is the best?
Thanks dude
the iron is near the smelter
Thx!
so all the three houses ar ALMOST the same?
no you choose the shape and the inside
They use the same design
Yes, just different rooms. That is completely correct
vlad big Exactly the same shape. And you'll choose what to put inside
I'm not sure but I'm going to try thank you anyway though :)
Lol on the captions it says jerkin hall
were do they come up with these names
thanks thats very helpful :)
i build it but it doesnt show up, any advice?
I dunno wich rooms to pick
can u move family to these houses
Damn that is all bad. Do you have a save from before the attack you could load that wouldn't mess you up too bad?
Nice!
Hey rutdog22 look i have that house but I want kids but how do I put a childs room there?
Thanx dude
I really wish there was an iron spot here :(
Nope sorry, it has to be where it is on the 2nd floor, or you can build an enchanting tower instead of the greenhouse
nope, i was level like 38 or 51 when it happened which was months ago, i'm level 81 now.
Oh dang well that sucks. You are maxed out now. I heard in the new DLC, Dragonborn, there is a villain that will hunt you like a mercenary if you are level 81. He is in all ebony armor and is really hard to kill. Read that today. Are you xbox, ps3 or PC?
I love it
Did you ever decide?
the one in dawnstar
hmmm no.......... i dont want to live in this cold place with a lot of snow :) i have this in RL :)
going to get Lakeview Manor
Thanks :)
Its cool to not finish the greenhouse, It will leave you with a great porch. My home is complete by being left uncompleted. start the green house, but stop after placing the logs for the walls, Don't lay the walls, gives the great porch.
Where can you find iron?
Halted Stream Camp.
Mine dosnt show up its invicible
Rutdog22 do you have ps3 good video
um I may not know you and you may not know me but I need help, skyrim won't let me play it keeps booting me off or kicking me off and I don't know how to fix it, so can someone help me, find me on facebook if you guys can help slove the problem
Do you still have this problem? Do you have any mods?
