Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Fall foliage ride

- In November I decided to take Yaz about 2 hours from our house to Cumberland, MD. We got on board the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad which took us on a journey up to Frostburg, MD. We went through some bridges, towns, farms, crossroad and beautiful mountain along the way. Its a very nice thing to do as a family and maybe try to go during October to get a better fall foliage, we went beginning of November but some trees were bone dry already. They also have a winter Polar express and Murder mystery tour check their website.

How long was the train ride total? It says 4.5 hours on the website.
I’ve been there two times at that station for the polar express and just a train ride up the mountain it is so much fun

You can check online for best times of foliage in different parts of the country it may change every year but October seams to be the best.

Is there a preferred side of the train to sit on for viewing?
Just saw your video where you state to sit on the right side! Did you sit on the left side when you returned, or did you stay on the right side coming back?
@@cathybell6151 we stayed on that side, the engine is the only one that changes spot so the side wont change. :-)
