I really like this album. Do you have a version of it or the drums are... more dynamic? More subtle maybe? Like I realized the banginess of the kick and snare are genre conventions. But it would be really cool to hear a more dynamic version of the songs on this album.
There’s probably not a dynamic version of this track because the way you have to mix to be competitively loud in the genre requires a squashing of dynamics in the loudest sections. That trick he showed with the saturator on digital clip, happens on every channel pretty much which allows you to later on get the song much more even before you crank the limiter.
