I always enjoy your drone / tape loop pieces very much, not to mention the pleasantly eerie video footage (real film or filmified digital, btw.?). How do you go about creating those loooong fades? A they baked into the loops in an external editor or do you use the Koala mixer while recording the piece? (typo fixed)

@@thedroningbore thanks for listening and the lovely words! The video is an old vhs home movie I found on TH-cam, and the “film” is the vintage effect on Riveo. I know I’m mixing my “metaphors” a bit, but I liked the effect. As for the fades, the fades between loops, magically come automatically as they are not synced so if I’m lucky I get some natural sounding fades, I use very long loops with a lot of attack and release added and then resample them in koala. The fades at the end are me manually fading out various tracks on the built in koala mixer! Thanks for taking the time to listen/ watch and make a comment! Happy Christmas!
