Jungkook's english has gotten so good. It may seem like a small thing, but it really isn't. Learning another language and using it to express your thoughts is never a small thing. He's been saying how much he wanted to learn and how hard he's been studying and I'm just unbelievably proud of him.

I think one of the main reasons why I keep gravitating back to this interview is how real and genuine it feels. The lack of live audience really strips it down to just them talking like real people about their lives and their music. A perfect mix of humour, hyperness, and calmness. Really great to listen to
This was the best interview because 1. No collaboration questions 2. Taehyung smiled 3. Everyone got to speak their answers. 4. Jungkook's English 5. Jimmy Fallon didn't interrupt. 6. Jimmy treated them like friends. 7. He was looking at them even though they were speaking in Korean. (In a lot of interviews the anchors used to look down or up because they can't understand but BTS also can't understand the anchors sometimes still they behave in a respectful way). 8. Yes, Jimmy Fallon is the best interviewer of BTS, he is never condescending or rude, or asking dumb questions showing they haven't done their homework about K-Pop or BTS. It is embarrassing seeing some US morning news shows asked the stupidest questions. They might as well say "oh, you cute little foreigners do you like Chinese food". In the West they lump ALL Asians together, and they think we all know each other. I have been interrupted when eating a meal at a restaurant by some old white couple squeal about how they recently visited an Asian country and "loved the people and the food" and asked if I knew whomever they met, like considering there are over 2 billion Asians I'm supposed to know all of them? Also, I was born and raised in the USA but they assume I just got off the "boat" yesterday. I was surprised to see US national news programs act as stupid as these US tourists.

To think so many people are learning Korean because of him and just BTS in general. I love language. I was just going to say the same thing! It might seem like such a small thing, but when you take a look at their previous interviews with English speaking hosts they almost always immediately look to Namjoon for a translation instead of the member whos speaking in Korean. So this really warmed my heart because it just showed that Jimmy respects each and every member, and genuinely cares about what they have to say equally.
Even when I see them now, I just realise these are 7 extremely genuine and down to earth guys who have made it this far and I can't wait to see them achieve more.

Yes, Jimmy Fallon is the best interviewer of BTS, he is never condescending or rude, or asking dumb questions showing they haven't done their homework about K-Pop or BTS. It is embarrassing seeing some US morning news shows asked the stupidest questions. They might as well say "oh, you cute little foreigners do you like Chinese food". In the West they lump ALL Asians together, and they think we all know each other. I have been interrupted when eating a meal at a restaurant by some old white couple squeal about how they recently visited an Asian country and "loved the people and the food" and asked if I knew whomever they met, like considering there are over 2 billion Asians I'm supposed to know all of them? Also, I was born and raised in the USA but they assume I just got off the "boat" yesterday. I was surprised to see US national news programs act as stupid as these US tourists.

Jungkook wasn’t playing when he said he wanted to learn more English. As someone who teaches English as a second language I’m so proud. To think so many people are learning Korean because of him and just BTS in general. I love language. To have so many people exchange words and ideas with each other in languages that are not their own, and wanting to do the same back always gets me 😭

I was just going to say the same thing! It might seem like such a small thing, but when you take a look at their previous interviews with English speaking hosts they almost always immediately look to Namjoon for a translation instead of the member whos speaking in Korean. So this really warmed my heart because it just showed that Jimmy respects each and every member, and genuinely cares about what they have to say equally.
