Remember Chinese Dictator Mao? Here's what he did:
- He renounced ancient chinese culture, including Confucius and Buddhism, which value kindness and tolerance.
- He eliminated all intellectuals, land owners and rich and famous people.
- He demanded the youths to condemn their parents and neighbors publicly, usually in front of a crowd.
- What he had left were uneducated laborers, poor peasants and mean youths.
No. That is not Mao. That is his wife during cultural revolution. He purged his political enemies and killed millions with his stupid great leap forwad idea.
Please pray for people u all need god

thats a very good question... believe it or not... while i backpack all over china from north to south and east to west... out of curiosity i did asked quite a bit of tibetans, uygurs, and other ethnic people... surprisingly many like china as is, cause their gov listens to them and their gov services them not the top 1% like other countries... does this answer your question...

Thanks CBS follow-up on the Hong Kong issue, more and more people now understood how CCP impact the world, especially after the COVID outbreak. Recent year even the mainland Chinese take the illegal route to US via Mexico, the Chinese economy keeps down.
Actually they did a poor job. They did not interview a single person off the street. They still think Jimmy Lai is credible. His assistant Mark Simon worked for CIA. The two of them were laundering money and funding the riot. They even have the Azov battalion to advise tactic. All these were evidence presented in court and does not take much effort
Try look for DW's report a few years ago. It is still biased just less biased. They actually showed a little truth.
I’m curious. Why does the U.S. not support Palestinians who openly live under Apartheid and oppression?

The woman Legina Yip is quite ridiculously interesting. All those problems she stated first are the results of worshiping Beijing-imposed ‘National Security’ thing.
The problem she cited are the same problem we have in US. Atleast they don't have a homeless problem
She is able to think independently without state department talking points.

How come only anti-China pro-independence voices (aside from Regina Ip) are platformed?
Is the U.S. supporting an independence movement?

the amout of imigration spreading their ideology should be illigal to HK.China really to check those people background
Hong Kong was never officially a British colony other than the fact it existed under temporary lease to the British.
Not true at all. HK Island and Kowloon were given to Britain in perpetuity. The New Territories were the ones on lease. The Sino British Joint Declaration promised One Country Two Systems for 50 years after sovereignty was handed over in 1997 (yes - sovereignty went from the UK to the PRC as Jiang Zemin said in his speech that day) yet that has not been fulfilled
