This was one of the songs that proved Guns n' Roses could really evolve their sound well beyond _Appetite_ and showed they could do that with Matt Sorum as drummer. It's such a shame they broke up when they did. Slash and Izzy together were what made the GnR sound.
AXL basically drove IZZY out of the band because his gigantic ego led him to believe he didn't need IZZY anymore he could run the band all on his own and he didn't need IZZY interfering with his "vision" of what 'GUNS' should be which was proven to be monumentally wrong. and on top of that nobody else in the band seemed willing to stand up to AXL's megalomania.
plus that they basically ran the well dry of songs by putting out so many at one time and now that IZZY was gone in addition to drug use and alcoholism they were simply unprepared to come up with any new songs for another album so as a last resort they put out a cover album that basically flopped and that was the final nail in the casket..
The intro they did to the song, with that riff in E, is the first heavy part of Welcome Home (Sanitarium) by Metallica! ❤️
Slash still plays that jam before starting the riff to DTJ to this day, which still sounds cool.
It sounds more heavy and dirty than Welcome Home

as a musician myself i love watching vids of people playing songs i like because it's so interesting to see how the song is actually played. if anybody ever puts together a GUNS N' ROSES tribute in france you would be the perfect candidate for that job.
i actually played some bass real briefly with a G N' R tribute after their bass player quit but it went nowhere but i am often surprised when i watch videos like yours their material is actually quite simple to play but most of all you can clearly hear how enormous the 'AEROSMITH' influence is on their songwriting. also, i don't know if you're a fan of theirs but you would be really great at doing some 'KISS' tutorial videos ACE FREHLEY was obviously an enormous influence on SLASH alot of similarities in their styles
btw, when you speak french what sort of accent do you have is it something more general french or more specific to a particular region? i have some french friends and they say their accent is very general french, typical of paris. i don't speak french but i do speak spanish and i can understand some french and can read a little bit of it too.
Amazing awesome cover BUT we both know that this is not a complete cover for this song from Tokyo. This song keeps going till almost 9 minutes. And that is my only thing I really miss!
