Hey guys, this was a highly requested GN'R song and I'm happy to get this out there. When I tabbed this out, I wanted to be accurate to the point where I had all the right scale positions and whatnot. During the live video, the camera switches angles so I took my best educated guesses where he could be playing those runs on the fretboard. In the main riff of the song, I hear it differently in the studio recording. Sometimes there's a pull off to the low E string from the 2nd fret instead of the 3rd. Some times instead of pulling off to the open E string, there's an open A string instead. And these occur at very random points. So I decided to take the one I felt was most commonly played to make this a fairly consistent tab. Other than that, have fun with this! If you are having trouble getting this up to speed, the TH-cam speed function comes in handy really well for songs like this. Cheers!
Oh so I'm not the only one capturing some random pull offs, I thought it was just build on the E minor shape of just pulling off on the second fret of the 5th and 4th string but it did sound a bit different. Your version is definitely way cooler though
How about the Paris '92 performance?, because you have backing track already, but to me that's much better performance of the song, specially around the 'bridge' part of the solo (distortion) when he plays awesome high note on the downbeat on F, when the band starts 'full' beat again... 😆...

Wow, excellent work. This might be one of the best examples of slash’s guitar skill set. Nice minor / Spanish Melodies, excellent legato sections, and some nice blues rock licks in the SRV territory. Good stuff. Your playing is insane and so accurate.

Same here. They released it as a 2 part concert on VHS. Purchased both of them and played them to death back in the day. Slash was the reason why I picked up a guitar in the first place and also have him tattooed on my arm.

Your videos are fantastic for anybody who plays, but I also love just rocking out to them. When I'm at a concert, I'm always near the front, fixated on the guitarist, and this gives me the same enjoyment. Plus, hearing the raw guitar track with your always-awesome tone is such a rush. THANK YOU!!!
