i love how even as a big family in a smaller space you do what you can to give the kids creativity to make their own spaces and their own private areas when possible! So much love in this family, it is clear
Those children are so happy, healthy and their joy is showing! I couldn't stop smiling just looking at them. I find the solutions you made for your living area very smart. I also loved how Mamma Ruth reads to the children. I have to say, I never read to my daughter past her 8yrs old and because I was a single mom I recall pushing her to read on her own so she can be quiet and I get to do everything around the house in that 1 hour before bed time. I wish I did that. I don't know why but I thought that is very sweet and endearing as a tradition in the family.
Im slowly working on the tiny patch of garden I have in my backyard. I rent and funds are very tight but last year I started to add to the space by planting some things and each year I add. I was so pleased to see all the plants I planted survived the winter.
Good evening to you guys. The new house arrangement looks amazing. I like what you guys did with the kiddos rooms. This was another great video. You guys have a great week.
Hello from Sweden, I just rearranged my sons room, we went to Ikea and he got to choose a few things he liked. We love to see your episodes every week 😊 Kindly regards, Martina and Jamie
I love the new look you gave to the apt. Families live in small spaces brings members closer together. Each child having his/her own room creates distance and "me" mentality.
love your videos they have became a part of my routine and even though other parts of my life have changed alot i love that your videos remain weekly part of it!
I’ve never been a big flower person, but since I moved into my own apartment I’ve really appreciated the beautiful touch they add to a space! They make me very happy when I look and smell them. ❤
My change to my living space hasn't happened yet. I FINALLY got the kotatsu I've been saving up for forever. It shipped Wednesday, but I've been sick, so I haven't unboxed it yet. I plan to do that this weekend and do some spring cleaning. 😊
Hi. I really like how you lived in your new place for a while so that you could figure out what you liked about it and what needed to change. Looks like great changes were made. 😀
Hi everyone i did watch this video and the one before it, sorry for not commenting. Hope your daughter is much better now, and regarding this video the rooms are wonderful and those flowers were something else. Have a great weekend.
I love your new house arrangement. It makes it look much more open and roomy in there. Back in America now, but so loved getting to meet your family and the amazing people at PAZ church❤❤
I like watching Japanese vlogs, not that I’d like to live there one day - but I feel like there’s a lot one can be inspired by, the Japanese way of life.
Your family reminds me when I lived in Japan about Josh’s age. The area was in Hamadera area before Osaka area. I remember very much , even went into areas with our maid into the village. Thanks for sharing your wonderful family!🙏👍👏❤️🙌
Redecorating is fun and creative. In the future, it's hard to find room for the kids as they grow. However, I am limited by the availability of power and cannot move it well😅
When I saw the title of this video I had to laugh because my sister and I have redone my hole room. It made it much more accessible to myself so I can be more independent. We are also working on doing the rest of our house as well. We are doing one room at a time. My sister and I live together it is only the 2 of us humans plus all our pets. I’m a quadriplegic and was in bed for over 3 years with some serious health problems. I’ve been able to get back in my power wheelchair within the last 2 months. That’s why we have been redoing the house to make it all more livable for myself. This way I can be more independent and help out where I can. My sister has been loving the changes we have been making as well which is a win for the both of us. I love your channel and the way you make it known that God is the center of your family’s life. That’s the way it ought to be.love you all. Bye for now God bless your family.
The last change I made was for how little counter space I have to cook on. I moved into my apartment in 2021 and only a few weeks ago finally changed stuff to work better for me. Example my toaster mashine was too far in the back, now I moved it more front and put the tablet in the back where I store my tea and coffee. Now I have more counter space cause the tablet was moved to a corner that I barly even used and so I have now more space for prepairing food cause before that I allways made food on top of the stove which took away too much space when I was having pots and pants on the stove
Everything looked good. The flowers, the new TV arrangement, the sunsets, but especially the pizza 😋. I was skinny like your kids when I was that age. Other kids made me feel self conscious but I wish it was as easy for me to stay skinny now. Age brings it's own unique challenges. Thanks for sharing.
Recently we moved a book case from our dining area that housed books and other things to our oldest daughters room . We replaced it with a small wall shelf with hooks for my aprons that can also hold small decor. Best decision ever. It completely opened up the space and now the whole room feels lighter.
Do you have a list of housing agencies that's foreigner friendly in the Kanagawa area? We will be moving in the area this summer and I'm having a hard time finding one. Can you please recommend some companies?
There's a great one we worked with briefly called E-heya. They're English speaking and will help you navigate the world of Japanese reality. www.eheya.net/en/office/international/index.html - If you use them, let them know we sent them your way!
@@LIJ thank you very much for this information. We are coming from Okinawa and will only be in Tokyo for a few days next week to look for a place and this saves us time. Thank you!

Those flowers look so beautiful! Love the bright colours! 😁💐🌴
You always have such great-quality videos and always give us amazing content. Thank you!
5 years ago I added a dog 🐕 to my home. Very big improvement!! ❤
I am just about finished with my garden - my first one in my own house! I also just repainted a room in the house and it looks soooo much nicer :)

Good job the place looks a little bigger!

Your videos are the favorite part of my weekend.
Thanks for always sharing your family and life with us.

I start a home vegetable garden in my balcony^^ I always look forward to your video!!
I like what you guys did to the place can’t wait today to watch your guys video.

I donated my childhood desk and added a new bookcase to start my home library 📚❤

Yes, I like it's the new settings. 👍👍👍👍
One year my Mom took the TV away from us....I got straight A's that year!!😂😂❣

Sometimes you have to live in a place for a little bit to find out what really needs to change, right?
TV in the closet ingenious idea!😊
Great video! ❤❤❤

ha! I used to be skinny too :)
love the new look and the flowers 🌺🌸🏵😍
Me toooo
Osaka has a theme park, Universal Studios Japan.
Among them is Nintendo World.
I think it's good to go once with your family
Would love to!

Happy ha😅🎉🎉 mother's day to ya all the way from Portland Oregon..love ❤️ your videos esp resters aunt video sushi 🍣 belts🎉🎉🎉🎉
You can go back anytime!
good😊
Wished my city had a clean river close to it
We have to drive over an hour to get there, but it's a lot of fun when we have a free day.

Very nice rearrangement! How many square meters of living space has the apartment? And what was the reason for swapping the kids' rooms? :)
We have 85 sq meters. The kids just wanted a change. 😂 No particular reason.
Growing kids will have more demands sooner. You should plan NOW to shift to a bigger place 2 years from now.
Beautiful family and beautiful girl they can be a model
Aghh! Where's the TV??
Ha ha!
The background music is often too loud 🙃
Naice hause!❤
Why don’t you lose the tv and just use a sheet and projector connected to your laptop! Of course I don’t know how you would do the video games!
You never know - it's a possibility (we've done that before and liked it)
May I ask what camera and lens do you use?
Main camera & lens: Sony FX6 with 24-105mm
Secondary camera: Sony A74 with 20-70mm
and of course iPhone 14 Pro Max when the others aren't with me
@@LIJ Thank you so much for letting me know!
Cant u mount ur TV on a wall and save space that way
Due earthquakes, the construction in Japan makes putting things on walls difficult. The beams are steal.
Is food cheap there? Your picnic foods and meat would be so expensive here in Canada!!!
Food has gone up a lot in America recently too.
Would the English club like some English language books?

Do you restrict your children’s food/calories? They look unhealthy/skeletal. 😢 Does mom very carefully watch calories?
