Drove this route today for my test- after reviewing this vid all day 😂 thank you for taking the time to record these! Theyre so helpful and made me feel more ready for the area. Langley was one of the easier areas in my opinion too. If you can avoid Vancouver and Surrey at all costs do it. Surrey is super strict and driving in Vancouver is just hectic for an N test. Langley was my 3rd attempt and i passed a few hours ago. Finally lol
@@harkirat3018 passed, it was super easy in Langley, if you can try Langley. That doesn’t mean ur gonna pass 100% tho so give it your all and be attentive
With regards to turning right on Fraser Highway, do I have to enter the bus lane first before entering the left lane or I’ll go right away to the left lane? Thanks☺️
@@cameron3928 if there is a road that turn right ahead, the HOV lane will have dotted line, indicating that you are now allowed to get into HOV lane and make a right otherwise it will be a solid line which you are not allowed to cross unless permitted
When turning right into a bus lane, do you enter the bus lane and then change into the (regular) left lane or go into the regular lane from the initial right turn?

@@JassPB04 I remember when you exit they will ask you to take right and then right again and there will be one roundabout school zone parking zone and pull over parking on hill that was for me sorry don’t remember exactly tip: don’t get nervous if they continuously look at you they’re actually examine if you’re scanning the intersections and mirrors etc just focus on your driving and follow the rules cuz they’ve 2/3 routes it depends on instructors where they wanna take you

Thanks for the videos. I'm in Chilliwack but the earliest test op here is almost 3 months from now and Abby is in Feb of next so I opted for Langley in early August. But I do have to say I'm halfway through this video and you have NOT told us one single time on a right hand turn to shoulder check for cyclists. At this point you would have failed this test in CHWK or ABBY. So my question is...in Langley do they not care about shoulder checks when making a right-hand turn? It is not enough to just "scan the intersection"...my 2 Canadian cents...UPDATE: At 16:10 you recommend your first shoulder check. I can see in the video there is a bike lane that comes up to the intersection. Seriously, any single time you turn right at any intersection in the province you need to do a right shoulder check period. Turn Right, Shoulder Check! or fail your test....and at the end of the video where you come back to the ICBC office you back in to a parking spot without proper instruction. This is their last chance to fail you. You have to do a 360 check with your head (not just mirrors) to back into the parking spot!!!!

@Natasha Domke One instructor told me they cut it a little bit shorter because of COVID and consider also the day and time when I shoot the video when most of the people are not on the street driving.
Id say easier tbh since your waiting at red lights for most of it. Also did you take your test yet? And if so, did you follow this or the other videos route?

The rules say that you can turn right on a red light unless there's a sign indicating otherwise. You for sure can't turn left on a red though.
