Have you thought about building another locomotive or something about the maintaining of the Rails with a ballast in car. I really like the handcar was the little man RC controlled. Your 3D printing skills is awesome. And then have you thought about anymore Rolling Stock
Thanks for the kind words! Yep, hand car was RC with a little motor hidden under the deck. Figure had a model airplane servo in the torso to turn the head. Next video will be building out the two turnouts I need to complete the car and engine storage shed. Box car and bobber caboose after that.
@@TheWeevilGenius that's going to be awesome I've got a whole bunch of equipment and hopefully by this year I'll have some track lay down in the woods where I'm building my miniature Railroad. I plan to put them in about eight hundred feet of track or more because I have three acres land to play with

@The Weevil Genius that's awesome, the servo in his torso so he could turn his head really cool. Can you share the stl files for the handcar so a few of us who are not as good at the cad can print one? Thanks
I model 2.5" narrow gauge on 7.5" gauge track. Could you scale this up for that? I would love to do it with two men. Also, do you print for others??? I can do the nuts and bolts, rods. I would need some help with wheels.
Thanks for asking Devin. Answer is yes. What would be most useful to you? I was planning to put together a package with STL files for the printable parts and a drawing set for the non printable parts. I'm open to any and all suggestions though!
@@TheWeevilGenius editable design files such as .step or .f3d would be great. I dont have the capability to machine the metal parts so modifying your design to take off the shelf components woild be nice.
This is fantastic, Albert is the Energizer Bunny of track maintenance...he's a good man to have on your team.
Thanks! He sure is. Its completely unbelievable what he is able to do.
Wow you even made and threaded your own bolts! That’s dedication! I just got a hand car model that I need to make tracks for.
Very great piece of work to make a 7 and 1/2-in gauge replica of a working hand car
Wow! I just found your channel , what an awesome job you have done. Beautiful hand car and layout. Wayne
Wow! That is an amazing build!
Albert is one tough dude. Sleeves rolled up in snow! 😳

Totally amazing..
Absolutely brilliant
I'll bet Charlie Weaver is cold af riding around in short sleeves😉
I know a guy who restored a hand cart and got to ride it a few times, its a lot of work and they don't like grades.
He has super strength... He could go a lot faster on that thing if he wanted to.
Ill have to keep an eye on him. A super genius with super strength running a hand car may be an accident waiting to happen!

I loved that!
Wonderful!

Thanks for the question. I just uploaded the entire file set to my Etsy store. www.etsy.com/shop/littlemountaintimber
Happy building!

Where did you learn to use Fusion 360?
Are you selling these??

"Oh my, that's a bit prototypical!"
Looking around your etsy store, are you useing 3d printed couplers?
Yep, I've been printing my own couplers. I'll have the files available in my Etsy store in the future.
Will you be uploading the files for this?
