  • How to change a LEKI grip with hot glue.
When changing a TRIGGER S pole, be sure the top of the pole shaft stops below the release spring.
LEKI strives to build poles and accessories that will live up to and exceed the wear and tear experienced on the trail or slopes. All of our products are covered by an industry-leading warranty. Many repairs can be performed at home or on the trail. The self-reliant replacement or change of parts and subsequent use of the product is at your own risk.

In the Bike shop, We use hairspray (cheap) to attach handlebar grips. Spray it on slide on the grip before it dries. Works like a charm.

I've never seen hot glue like this. Can you tell me where it can be purchased in the US? Are there other adhesives you would recommend?

Has there been a reply to this question? I am wanting to use this to replace the tips of my ski pole.

@@mdwgunx We use a regular hot glue stick. Leki sends out uncut poles with a stick of hot glue, not the weird brick thing from the video which I've also never seen in my life

@AllenKrughoff Thanks… this is the same information that Leki had shared with me. I am surprised they aren’t simplifying the video with this.

Can it also be done on Trigger S ski poles?

Was wondering the same thing. I want to convert my trigger poles to regular ones.

@@derekmarkovic yes, I’ve tried and it works fine. Just make sure that the internal diameter of the grip matches. And also remember that the actual pole in the trigger S arrives halfway in length inside the grip (instead of the full length), so if you put a normal grip, you’ll end up with poles 5 cm shorter
