My dad had one! (in white with the 352)--He was a Ford engineer back in the day...Many happy memories as a kid sitting on the "hump" in the rear seat between my older brother & sister!!
Beautiful '58 T - Bird, rarely seen '58 soft top.It appears to have top notch restoration work.I like that the Continental kit has that small bumper extension that's just large enough to accommodate the wheel, rather than the giant full width tray found on many other cars with Continental kits. Most younger people ( I'm 70) don't seem to realize that most equipment found on newer cars that is standard equipment today was optional at extra cost back then. For example, outside mirrors, power windows and seats,A/C, automatic transmission, etc. It was not at all common to see new cars in 1958 with factory AC, especially in the Northern states. Please note that the original equipment brakes on T- Birds of that era are not very good by today's standards.Anyway, it's a beautiful automobile - Enjoy it to the fullest!
