I admit, I am addicted to low mileage cars! I am always looking to add another to my collection! Sadly, new additions force the sale of some that I should have kept! The hunt continues!
Extremely low miles! 1987 Merkur XR4TI, this was a very good year! Lots of fun driving this!

1987 Merkur XR4Ti in wonderful condition! My son Tom has always love these cars. This one was a very low mileage all original! Paint, interior, engine, without any modifications. With its 2.3 L turbocharged engine, 5 speed...it was extremely quick! @markeversonclassiccars

1955 Imperial Newport 2 door hardtop, Black Beauty glowing in the nighttime!
มุมมอง 355ปีที่แล้ว
Something about this 1955 Imperial Newport glowing proudly in the nighttime makes me feel lucky to be able to experience it in person! The lines of this car are exceptional! The tail lights are the crowning jewel of this car! Being the very first Imperial year, it set the stage for many years of fantastic cars, but in my humble opinion, this one was the best!
1963 Chrysler Turbine, I wish it were mine! Jet engine technology!
มุมมอง 2532 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a beautiful car that was experimental. Jet engine propulsion that could run on many different fuels including kerosene….as well as tequila! Chrysler made 55 of these beauties but after a 2 year testing process the decision was made to end the Turbine…so all but 9 were crushed. Chrysler kept 2, 7 went to museums and one to a private party. Somehow Jay Leno purchased one! @markeversonclas...

Ford decided to expand their market share by taking the Thunderbird from a 2 seat sports car to a 4 passenger personal luxury car. It was a huge success! The first year…”Square Bird” saw production of 37 892 vehicles built, however only 2,134 convertibles were produced, making this black beauty quite rare!
Fully restored! 1958 Thunderbird Convertible! 1 of just 2,134 convertibles built for 58. Very rare!

This is one cool Thunderbird! The car was totally restored from engine, transmission, interior components ....to new top and all mechanicals bringing it back to new condition! We do a walk around and take a little cruise! This is one of the nicest 1958 Ford Thunderbird Convertibles you will ever see. It has had a full nut and bolt, body off restoration and is in beautiful original condition. Th...

Minnesota winters are long and cold…not great for driving collector cars in, so these are stored from November through May. I love all of the seasons Minnesota offers but when spring comes back these cars will be back on the road! @markeversonclassiccars

Beautiful
Thanks for your comment! I agree with you!
The elegance of Elwood Engel, yet someone decides to buy Virgil Exner on LSD.
I owned a 92 with the 3.8 V6 and it was the most reliable car I ever owned going well past 250k miles with minimal issues. Must have been built on quality bonus day 😂
Thanks for your comment. Wow, you had great service from your 92!
I would love to own this. The problem is... I have no where to put all of my dream cars.
How does someone commit suicide with rear hinge back doors? In 1950 our family car was a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door and nobody ever died getting in or out of it.
You have never heard the term suicide doors before? Maybe just kidding… but thank you for your comment!
GM Buick had that same starting setup.
It's a beautiful car!!
Thank you for your comment! I agree with you!
112 horsepower side valve six.
Thanks for that info. I didn’t know what the horsepower was.
The shorter-stroke 232 Six, much better for highway cruising, without overdrive anyway.
My favorite classic car, absolutely stunning. I love this color combo too!
Thank you for your comment! I really like this color combo also! Thanks again!
Beautiful car. I believe this was my father-in-laws from Longmont CO. I drove it to the house for the auction. What a fun drive.
My understanding is that your father-in-law owned it for 40 years and after he passed away, in August 2022, it was sold at auction. I purchased it from the woman who had the winning bid. If you have more information on the car, any history you can share would be greatly appreciated! Wow, small world! Thanks for letting me know about this!
This is beautiful... 👏😊
Thank you for your comment!
Amazing car. Love how the whitewalls look. Way better than the Camaros you see so often (for classic cars) nowadays. These need more respect. How did you find this? Seems extremely hard to find any AMC or Studebaker-Packard in fully-restored condition. And how do you find weatherstripping?
Thank you for your comment. I originally found this car on EBay. The weatherstripping was already on the car, but there are Hudson enthusiasts/group/clubs that help with the communication on where or who to go to for parts and service. I have not had trouble getting things serviced when needed! Thanks again!
Lord, don't slam that door so hard. Beautiful car.
Simply sweet! 👍👍
Thank you for your comment!
Very nice car. But, I am still dreaming of a maroon 51 Commodore sedan like the one that I saw when I was in high school.
Those special moments in life! Thanks for your comment!
The Commodore Straight-8 was an older-design engine. Hard to get parts for.
@@jimstrict-998I don't know if the Commodore that I saw was a six or an eight, but it had a Hydramatic transmission.
Beautiful car
Thank you!
Gorgeous ❤
Thanks for your comment!
How much are you asking for it
I no longer have this. It was sold, but thank you for your interest.
Saw this video a few years ago and just refound it again! Saved it this time! Glorious car!!
Thank you for your comment! I am glad you like my video!
When Chrysler was at its best
It's interesting that even though by 1955, Chrysler and Imperial were separate brands per Chrysler Corporation's marketing department, both Imperial and Chrysler brands used the Newport name for their hardtop coupes. That would be like GM having a Cadillac Coupe deVille and a Buick Coupe deVille.
Bizarre to think this was on sale at the same time as the MKIV Toyota Supra.
What???? No A/C bummer
I had a 55 DeSoto and a 56 New Yorker, similar in many ways, so I can really appreciate your car. Every detail is just perfection. Wish you weren’t so far away, would love to get a chance to drool over it in person.
Thanks for your comment. You had some nice cars!
Surprised you're not allowed to run year of manufacture tags. In NC, '75 and before you can, so long as you keep the registered tag in the car somewhere. (75 was the last year annual issue tag).
Thank you for your comment. I now have that license plate registered, so now it is my permanent license plate!
Wow…
Thank you! I agree, one word sums it up!
Is this car still for sale or available? If not, what did it sell for please. Thanks. I've had two of these and looking for another.
I hadn’t sold it but I am open to selling it.
@@markeversonclassiccars Has it had the intake plenum gasket replaced? With such low miles, perhaps it's never acted up. I just realized it's a '92. I worry about check engine lights and smog certificates and live in California.
What an Awesome Chrysler Corporation Imperial with the 354cid HEMI 355-Horsepower!
Thank you for your comment!
Wow, that is just the most gorgeous car I’ve ever seen. 🖤🖤🖤
Thank you for your comment!
Nothing beats Northern Minnesota in the fall living on a lake. Well, maybe driving an Imperial 😂
sweetness.
I agree! Thanks for your comment!
The 55 Imperial is positively breathtaking. The 56, and even the 54, are nice, but the 55 is it. Hands down.
Thanks for your comment! Of course I agree with you and that’s even if I didn’t own one!
Hi. Is this for sale please????? Thank you
Thanks for checking, but I have sold this car. I miss this one!
No power windows in this example. Unusual for Cadillacs of this era.
Do you want to sell 1993 New Yorker or Le Baron? Let me know. Thanks
Su estado de conservación es increíble 😍😍😍
Una verdadera belleza 😍😍😍😍😍

The classiest car of 1955 !
Thank you! I agree with you!
I’ve had an EU XR4i with the 2.8. I always wanted an XR4Ti
Do you still own this car?
Sorry, it was sold.
Great cars. I own a 92 Regency 98 as a daily. And its done very well so far
Lucky you! Yes I agree with you, great cars! Thanks for commenting on this clip!
Chrysler made the most beautiful cars.
Thank you, yes I agree with you!
I’ve seen quite a lot of Imperial and New Yorker when I was a kid, mostly driven by wealthy pensioners unsurprisingly. I always thought these were one of the most uncool looking car, something that I’ll never want to own in a million years. But now I think this is just so cool, simply because there aren’t cars like this anymore. There isn’t a modern car that remotely resembles something like this, and I think it made full circle and now I want it, really bad.
Thank you for your comment. I am with you…I totally agree!
Love the car. I've owned two 1962 Imperials, a Crown convertible in white, red leather interior. And a Custom coupe in rosewood poly with matching interior, same material as yours. Oh to still have them now...
Thanks! Yes. Lots of cars I wished I had never sold! You run out of room and have to make room for the new ones!
Yes, at this point I would need a forty five car warehouse... Although there are some I would never want to see again. Like a 1971 VW 411, bought new in a spasm of practically and was a lemon from the get go.
Born 1950 parents only drove Packard's until I was a teenager. I have quite never fit in if I had the resources that would be a prize. Thanks for the ride along. Oh we had a 400 that color. I am in Florida the memories are wonderful.
Thanks for your comment. Fun memories!
I enjoyed your video. Perhaps someday I would like to own one.
Thank you for your comment
Beautiful car! worth every penny.
Thank you for your comment! It is really a great car! Thanks again!
Beautifully maintained, well done. That is the cleanest engine ive seen in a car that age. You know, in all honesty, American car manufacturers should go back to building these type luxury cars, with the modern safety upgrades of course.
Thank you for your generous comment! I agree with you!
Beautiful! 👍👍
