Hope the sink don't fall in like the 2019 yrs Also recently had a fuse problem blowing on appliances. Turned out to be were the gas burner was install in furnace at factory they had gotten a wire under the lip of the burner when screwed down at Furnace factory which was causing a short and fuses to blow. We love our rockwood but for the price of these things you would think they could do a better job. I mean we paid thousands and we get to build our own seema like
The sink issue was resolved in later model years. Unfortunately, that was a fairly common issue back then. I’m sorry to hear about those issues, but I’m glad your overall Rockwood experience has been positive.
You’ll want to ask what type of countertop you have on any under-counter-mounted sink. Wood will soak up water, swell, screws will loosen, and the sink will fail. The “fix” he mentions is a bead of silicone around the edge to help reduce the chances of water getting to the wood. That’s a temporary fix that will need to be reapplied at least annually. Most RV countertops have faux countertops, foil wrapped wood or molded plastic over wood. Particleboard is the worst, then plywood, then treated mild/mildew treated plywood (greenish tint), then solid wood which is the best other than corian. If you’re shopping for another RV, you must look underneath the counter to see the wood. 😊
@@RousseausRVWalkthroughs Please be aware that the mattress fits under the closet when the slide is in, so measuring the distance from the bed wooden platform (that the mattress lies on) to the bottom of the closet will indicate how thick of mattress you can install (if you're thinking residential mattress).
Wish this thing was like 400 lbs lighter and I'd tow it with my touareg. It's not the towing capacity that's the problem but the tongue weight isn't 10% of its tow capacity for some reason... it's 8% which seems to be based on European specs. Several years ago it was 10% and then for no apparent reason they changed it to 8%..
Dave, I truly like the large single sink. Also, I notice this unit is without the amber exterior light. So, I guess it's an across the board change. Great video tour. BTW I found out that "build date" is "completion date". So.... October firstish?
I can see why you’re saying that, but what I’m saying is “This is a front kitchen. With a front kitchen you get…” I can see how I said it without enough of a pause to make that clear.
Beautiful unit. Love Rockwoods and that front kitchen is a cook's dream. Thanks for showing the unit closed. Wish others did that.
Thanks for the video. Smart choices with this layout, the kitchen is a major plus with the huge window up front.
I just purchased one for my 2nd RV and I’m stoked to pick it up on Friday. Thanks for the vid
😂I, truly want this one w/ the light stone interior 🚙🛁☕☕😍🥰💯
Thank you for this video. Waiting on 2025 and a rectangle shower.
Very nice Dave! Hope you all are well at Rousseau's :-) Barret & Patti
Thanks for great video

@@Erin-Thor True-that, and you had them in order. Like me, you must be a student of Jacob Rigor.👍
Can you take out you take out a slide out with Crain and install tempur pedic queen bed ? Let me know please
I don’t think you’d have to take the slide room out to replace the mattress. Mattresses should be able to fit through the rear entry door.

No amber nite lite is a cost saving measure I guess
Isn't it illegal most everywhere to be in the trailer while moving?
I hope so!
Airstream baby!!!!!!
If you have $75 - $100k to spend, Airstreams are great.
Porcelain or plastic toilet?
Porcelain toilet

Low 40k
Beware that the exterior storage is grossly inadequate.

How about electric wheel motors to take off the tow load off the truck all solar powered. That's what I'm going for with minds
