They were the first all girl band with a number 1 debut album, but lets be honest, they had only 3 hitsingles. making a greatest hits album in the 90s was silly. they should had made a full album instead cause they were all in their best shape back then.
The drummer’s greed and envy, and whining for equity caused the others to bolt. It’s Atlas Shrugged - the John Galt’s left her high and dry. Learn your place drummer. Appreciate the generosity of Meritocracy, or rise to their level. Otherwise, nothing.
@@daveg4236 Uh, yeah, but I like her, a lot of people do, and she's an original member, and, uh, contributes tunes to their catalog, and, one of the key things that drives a band is the relationship between the drummer and the bassist. Gina and Kathy nailed it every time, especially live. So, yeah, anybody can play a bass but you've left out or missed what other key elements and factors need to be present for it to work. Yeah, anyone could have played Paul's bass lines.
@@rudolphguarnacci197: Kathy was not an original member. She replaced Margo Oilvares who was the original bassist at the time. She got ill, and Kathy replaced her. Then she became, the band's permanent bassist because Margo wanted to be still a punk band, and the rest of the girls didn't. So they got their manager to fire Margo.
