Mac is our most consistent and reliable tool guy at our shop! Snap-On shows up every now and then, and we just got another Matco guy after not having one for a few years, we’ll see how consistent he is…
I like that Mac is still making the steel sockets trays. Seems like everyone else ditched them for cheap rails or plastic cases but I love Mac’s old steel socket trays. I’ve still got a bunch of from when I started ages ago. That Macsimizer HD looks like a beast of a box. Hopefully he’ll have one to showcase soon!
funny how they put flat head screw drivers in the set, when was the last time you saw a flat head screw on a car 1942? i just use them like every body else as a prybar, or chisel.
I work at a KW dealer. We all use the 3/8" gearwrench pass through socket/ratchet set for the 18mm on the paccar overheads. Those standard offset wrenches can be a pain in the ass on the epa 17 mx engine. due to the upper valve cover.
I love tool cases, I admit that they take tons of room in a toolbox, but a person spends so much money on tools and cases are an easy way to make sure that nothing gets left under the hood
Those precision torque wrenches are sold in Australia as sidchrome 440 series. Had a few that I replaced missing sidchrome 222 anti slip design spanners with(like a proto but with Australia brand). Never had much time for them until the other day. Bought a set of fd+ and they rounded off a 10mm bolt on a hydraulic pump. The sidchrome got it out no worries.
My favorite is the metal trays with the handle. I have one similar that I bought probably in the 80 or 90's from Craftsman and it still functions great. I would put a bed in there and sleep in the truck. Capture the smell of tools and use it as air fresher. Thanks for the video. Good luck to Michael.
You should do a segment on their axis locking flex head ratchets. I hear their Cobalt drill bits are good too. They will warranty every single size in the case.
I am extremely jealous you have to have the best tool guys. 😉 it always seems I only have 1 good tool guy at time but to have 4 good reliable guys is like a pipe dream.
Can't wait to see some Mac versus snap on comparisons. I'm in the middle of buying a lot of the stuff that you talk about so it's nice to see which route I should go and what benefits me more. Love the videos thanks a bunch
Literally chased down a Mac truck driving past my place today!.. just recently got the snap on guy coming by and was thinking of calling Mac and there he was! Thanks for another great video
Good to see another Mac dealer making it in today's world. Fortunately even for living in North Pole, Alaska, I have a Mac dealer that has been around for 10+ years and is an amazing guy as well. Good to see you giving him support as well man 👍💪
Needs t be pointed out the "Duratec" handle on the screwdrivers will resist chemicals, incl Brake Cleaner. The MAC wrenches are great - comfortable as heck. Not only is the truck big - but the pull out shelves like a tool box packs three times what others have in the same space. Ask him about being a Stanley Black & Decker company (DeWalt) and still carrying Milwaukee. Are all MAC dealers able to do that?
The anti vibe hammers are the best hammer out there in my opinion. We havent had a MAC dealer in probably 8-9 years but I am glad I got the hammers from him.
Michael Topping yes Sir I've had my Axis 13 inches fixed Ratchet for 2 years used it everyday in the shop. Finally the gear started skipping on me I asked my Mac Tools dealer is it okay if you replace it. No question's asked I received a news ratchet. I'm a lifelong Mac Tools buyer from here on out
The Expert impact Set is an above and beyond perfect! I was so impressed with the 3/8 set that I ordered the 1/4 and 1/2 sets even though they weren't on on sale. The 1/4" set comes with standard & metric but the 1/2" drive sets have to ordered separately. They are on really nice aluminum trays! The wire strippers are really good... and inexpensive! I have 4 pair of them! And my Mac tool guy Scott Lidgard in Northern Indiana goes above and beyond!
Congrats on the new tool truck! Will definitely make for some great videos 😃 I had never seen a Mac Tools truck until I started working for Cummins 2½ years ago and I've bought quite a bit from Mac and love their tools and prices 👍
I have a set of the pocket pry bars and I think if they would do something to improve them out put a magnet on one of them and they it would make that set a lot better
Old mac knuckle savers are the best feeling wrench I've ever used. The retching wrenches are the best retching ones I've used. Highly recommend them as their open end offset is different and seems to allow alot of different useful angles. Those antivibe hammers feel far better in hand than the snapon. Big fan of their rvbt(however you spell them) torx and allen set. Most other tools snapon is my go to. I'm no fan boy but mac has some tools they did right.
With Mac stepping into the picture you just put the icing on the cake. More options then you could shake a stick at. This is going to be good for everybody
You didnt show us the part number to that Extreme Wrench set he showed do you know it or can you ask him and let me know. Thanks bro. Hope everyone is staying busy at work, staying happy, safe, and healthy on your end. Good luck.
2lb anti-vibe drilling hammer (sledge) is by far my favorite hammer. And I love the expert impacts, wait for them to go on sale and they can be great value for your money.
Clay, where has Bill been? Miss seeing him. Mac Daddy provides quite the detail of the tools he has on the truck. Like seeing how much variety he has on the truck. Just like a candy store.
That's funny he doesn't know his best wire strippers are really sharp pair scissors that are amazing and one of the guys at the shop got them to help skin a deer. And they got the little wire stripper part in the handle. I used they today to strip the outside of a 6 wire trailer cord
High Mr. Clay, Wow love the 📹 video and Mr. MAC Daddy Mike love that shopping center you call a truck 🚚 my brain 🧠 goes into tool overload mode everytime Mr. Clay pans down the aisle.
I miss having a Mac dealer... the pocket pry bars is something I always carry on me. Will beat any pocket screw drivers out there. If we ever get a Mac dealer again I am interested in one of those brake caliper packs those are super nice. But today was Snap on Thursday for us. Dealer is still tryin to get me to upgrade my classic 78 into an EPIQ 84 lol money isn’t like what it was.., dam Covid
I love Mac tools.I buy 90% of my stuff from him. Expert sockets are great. Strap-on ratchets are still my fav. But my wrenches and pretty much everything else..... Mac is my choice
While attending Lima diesel school, Mac, Snap On, Cornwell, S&K, Proto they all offered great discounts. My first job at long since closed Bowen Implement I had a Mac man every Thursday. Now I'm in Columbus Ohio and I can't find a Mac guy, yet the office and annual tent tool sale is in Westerville, Ohio. I like my Mac tools, just can't get ratchets rebuilt and sockets replaced. A shame, a real shame.
If a Mac tool dealer ever comes around to my dad's shop,I will be looking at the RBRT bits to buy. That brake caliper bit set,no 7mm hex bit which is used on some Fords and Chrysler brake calipers.I have one expert wrench,a 14mm I found underneath a car my dad bought.
Man I'm glad to see u having a Mac dealer starting to come by. They have great tools and the best deals i think. I love my Mac tools
I’ve never seen a Mac guy show up 2 weeks in a row
Omg it’s true
Our Mac guy shows up regularly every week. Probably the most consistent of any of the tool trucks in my area.
Our Mac guy at my work will show up and then won’t show up got 6 months… I kid you not. Lol
Mac is our most consistent and reliable tool guy at our shop! Snap-On shows up every now and then, and we just got another Matco guy after not having one for a few years, we’ll see how consistent he is…

They'd be perfect if they were magnetic
Thank you koon trucking for opening my eyes to Mac tools, they do have some good products.
funny how they put flat head screw drivers in the set, when was the last time you saw a flat head screw on a car 1942? i just use them like every body else as a prybar, or chisel.

Well damn I was the guy that met Mac daddy Micheal in Tupelo 😂 that’s awesome!
You made an impression on him
I need a Mac tools guy
That's awesome
Mike DeFranco same here bro all I see is snap on which is nice. But like eating you want different flavors at times (MAC, Matco etc)
I love tool cases, I admit that they take tons of room in a toolbox, but a person spends so much money on tools and cases are an easy way to make sure that nothing gets left under the hood
Helps me know when I’ve left a socket or torx or hex bit somewhere

Oh and I have one of those expert sets on order, can't wait.
Those Mac mini pry bars are phenomenal. They’re great for removing electrical connectors
Do you own them?
Ivan C yes I own this set
I work at a ford dealer and when I do a turbo on a 6.7 they work perfect for popping loose the clamps
I love Mac tools. They have always been the 'premium' tool truck that stopped by my shop. You cannot beat those antivibe hammers dude!!
Thank you for the Mac truck tour again. Thank God. Those green lock a socket rails, I need a part number please.
Can't wait to see some Mac versus snap on comparisons. I'm in the middle of buying a lot of the stuff that you talk about so it's nice to see which route I should go and what benefits me more. Love the videos thanks a bunch

Man Clay i have not seen my MAC tool dealer in months, hes battling cancer, thx's for the video, i feel like i am on the truck with you!!!
Man I hope he beats it and come back 120%
Thx's Clay, you the best!!!
I don’t buy off a tool truck but I do enjoy these videos. To me Mac looks like great sets at better prices than any of the other trucks
Yes they are allowed to carry like 10% of the inventory in other tool brands etc
Man shout out to mac daddy Michael for sliding through again! Great video 🔧
Just if you remember could you ask mike if and when MAC is releasing the power tool holsters for power drawer for impacts drills impact drivers etc
Dang man, I can’t imagine that truck pulling onto our job site. That thing is nuts. Our Snap On guy does a pretty good job on the wallet as it is.
Im ready for the MAC tool box tour! There Boxes and Carts are my personal favorite
The anti vibe hammers are the best hammer out there in my opinion. We havent had a MAC dealer in probably 8-9 years but I am glad I got the hammers from him.
Eric Gunter “Porto hammer”
@@nocomment1379 yeah, I looked om Proto's website and they are not listed. Must be a MAC exclusive product.
Absolutely love Mac Tools their warranty is incredible. They replace the whole tool
Best warranty there is in my opinion
Michael Topping yes Sir I've had my Axis 13 inches fixed Ratchet for 2 years used it everyday in the shop. Finally the gear started skipping on me I asked my Mac Tools dealer is it okay if you replace it. No question's asked I received a news ratchet. I'm a lifelong Mac Tools buyer from here on out
@@nachos_70firebird66 for sure man! I have chisels and punches that from the mac truck. Lifetime warranty and there has been zero questions asked
I have the old style knuckle saver wrenches but that new style in holder is on my list too
Hell yes! Another truck means another video a week! Awesome content, I love watching you spend your money lol!
Why would you want an 8mm Allen in the brake caliper set, all European stuff uses 7mm
Kind of nice to be able to see what’s on 3 out of the 4 big name tool trucks. The snap on guy is the only truck that shows up where I work.
2lb antivibe drilling hammer is awesome buy. To this day, it’s my most used hammer and it’s small enough to work anywhere.
That truck is the most loaded tool truck I’ve ever seen... thanks for the great videos...👍👍👍
The Expert impact Set is an above and beyond perfect! I was so impressed with the 3/8 set that I ordered the 1/4 and 1/2 sets even though they weren't on on sale. Clay
You gotta get the anti vibe hammers. They're very well balanced. The 3lb hammer is my go to along with the 24
Congrats on the new tool truck! Will definitely make for some great videos 😃
I had never seen a Mac Tools truck until I started working for Cummins 2½ years ago and I've bought quite a bit from Mac and love their tools and prices 👍
My god the variety of tools.😱 It’s like having a kid in a candy store
His truck is amazing. Huge investment so it’s nice to see you supporting him
Mac has one of the best ratcheting screw driver bit set.
My favorite MAC tool so far is the ratcheting screwdriver set. Feels great and has great high quality bits!
Great set I love it.want a second for the house
I just bought this set on sale 3 weeks ago. It was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up im still just as happy with it now as the day I bought it.
Clay next time he comes pick up a injector heel bar set, part number S115KP you wont regret it !!
I have a set of the pocket pry bars and I think if they would do something to improve them out put a magnet on one of them and they it would make that set a lot better
Wicked awesome video clay keep them coming
At 14:45 a tire core valve tool, blue package on the left, above his head. Lol
Keep up the great work clay. Love the videos 👍🏼

Great video that will be nice Big daddy mac stops by every week.
I want to get on a Mac truck I’m not a mechanic but love working on my friends cars and trucks. Been saving up
I hope you keep going with the Mac videos. Love 'em!

Thats whats awesome about a truck stocked up as well as that truck is, everything you ask about he pulled out and showed you.
Clay, where has Bill been? Miss seeing him. Mac Daddy provides quite the detail of the tools he has on the truck. Like seeing how much variety he has on the truck. Just like a candy store.
He’s been off and we been super slow
Clay, thank you for your reply.

O yea MAC daddy mike welcome back so happy you are now official buddy
Picked up my tools ordered from the last flyer, MAC got me for some the tester you bought and the hose clamp pliers.
Could we see some of the axis ratchets? There’s not a lot of info on them..
The antivibe hammers are awesome!! I got the 4 pack that he showed and I got the 3 pound lil Wally also.
Getting that impact set next week🔥 love the Mac truck videos!
Thank you Clay & Michael! More Mac vids please.
That's funny he doesn't know his best wire strippers are really sharp pair scissors that are amazing and one of the guys at the shop got them to help skin a deer. And they got the little wire stripper part in the handle. I used they today to strip the outside of a 6 wire trailer cord
Truck truck is crazy for a tool truck love it
The brake socket set i think is missing the unicorn 9mm still a good set
High Mr. Clay,
Wow love the 📹 video and Mr. MAC Daddy Mike love that shopping center you call a truck 🚚 my brain 🧠 goes into tool overload mode everytime Mr. Clay pans down the aisle.

Would like to see about the scout diagnostic tablet.
Huge truck and nice tool haul...
Awesome video! Thanx Clay 👍

Lol that’s a funny comment.
Lol.lol I 😢😅
Man those offset ratcheting wrenches are too slick. I gotta get me some of them.
I bought a set of those RBRT bits. The only MAC tools in my box. lol
Great Mac Tool Truck video. Thank you.
Mac tools are the best tools. I stand by Mac
Great Video, glad to see the MAC guy finally making stops at your shop
I love Mac tools.I buy 90% of my stuff from him. Expert sockets are great. Strap-on ratchets are still my fav. But my wrenches and pretty much everything else..... Mac is my choice
They do make a GREAT set of torx for removing damaged torx head bomts
Got me a set of those MAC pocket pry bars and they are awesome!!
Do you think next week you could go more in depth with Mac’s diagnostics tools and or maybe electrical things like multimeters and such?
Man that huge truck. I could spend alot of money in there.
I like that extra deep offset box. That's a have to have item.
Mac antivibe hammers are probably my favorite Mac tool.
Glad to see a Mac truck the first tool I've ever bought a truck was Mac tools a set of pry bars and Philip bits
Awesome truck mac daddy Michael!
Id like to see what kinds of wire strippers they have on the truck
Always was told Mac means Man Aint Comin- I have always had luck with Mac personally
While attending Lima diesel school, Mac, Snap On, Cornwell, S&K, Proto they all offered great discounts. My first job at long since closed Bowen Implement I had a Mac man every Thursday. Hey is your TH-cam still active ?
1/4 air ratchet AR249 all time favorite
They do make very good pliers.

Hey Walter shoot me an email when you have time please sir
@@KoonTrucking I will.I run into the rounded and mangled up hex and torx fastners
j young I need one of those sets! I watched the video and was impressed with the rbrt bits!
You need to check out the Mac angle wrenches!! They are the best. I own 3 sets
I’d say that button locking flex head ratchet.
Those socket trays are old school proto, I’m lucky enough to have 2 of them.
