Hi guys!!!! I know this is a lotttttt of skincare all at once but I’m going to slowly test each product out one by one over time! So far really loving the great barrier relief! As for the cleanser , I know it’s better for ppl with normal/ oily skin BUT I JUST HAD TO TRY IT AGAIN OK!!! Blame hyram!!!

Always by travel/ mini sizes first when you can to test how your skin will react and make sure to do patch tests to make sure if you do have a reaction, it won’t be your whole face!

Of course, that doesn't mean what he says about them isn't true! Just hope everyone knows that because it COULD be a reason he talks about them a lot. I don't want to discredit him at all, so just make up your own mind about this lol. Also, I am OBSESSED with Krave Beauty's Great Barrier Relief! Just keep in mind that it's not meant to be used every single day for long periods of time. It's more of a treatment for when your skin needs a little repairing or extra attention for a few days. Or maybe a once a week/once every few days type of thing. I've heard of people using it every day for months, then stopping. Then when they use it again, they have a bad reaction. Not sure why that happens, but just try not to overdo it! I use mine once a week or whenever my skin seems irritated, and it's been amazing!!
Hi Kathleen! As an argentinian suscriber I will tell you a little bit more about yerba mate: Is a traditional South American caffeine-rich infused drink. It is made by soaking dried leaves of the species in hot water and is served with a metal straw ("bombilla" in spanish) in a container typically made from a calabash gourd. It is our national beverage. Many people from other countries have tried it and really loved it! I'm sure that in Miami you can find yerba mate, mates (the container is also called mate) and bombillas because there are so many argentinian people living there! The pronounciation is sherba mateh hahah love you!! ♥️
Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief is my holy grail product! Also love their cleanser. I have the whole line now and everything is soothing and does exactly what I want without compromising my skin!
OMG I LOVE KRAVE BEAUTY!! i am constantly repurchasing their products just bc they are so simple yet work! Plus they focus on sustainability and try to always improve packaging making sure it is the best for the earth. The founder behind the brand is just so sweet and truly cares about the consumer and products!
You should watch James Welsh he also gives great advice! By the way be careful with mixing so many products with the same ingredients at the same time, you have a lot of stuff with hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid has to be used properly or else it can suck water out from the deep layers of your skin and be drying. James Welsh has a video on why he stopped using it.
I found Hyram from James Welsh. I think James has a lot of skincare knowledge in the realm you're looking for. Definitely watch him if you haven't already, or, also give his recommendations a whirl!

12:30 "And plus you're saving the environment"... Well I wish Kathleen.. I wish. But the makeup eraser is microfiber, which literally releases micro plastic into the water every wash. That's BAD bad. I prefer washing my face twice with makeup removing cleanser than using wipes of cotton rounds/ reusable type of wipe(there are bamboo or cotton rounds for multiple uses). I do have some wipes and organic cotton rounds on hand for the extra lazy days but from my experience, washing your face is the most effective and simple way anyways ☺ Hope this comment actually helps someone and if it did for you please like and comment so it goes up🆙🔝 (I wasted like 10 min' of sleep on this so hope it does 😅)

KATHLEEN GET PRODUCTS BASED ON YOUR SKIN TYPE! HYRAM HAS OILY SKIN SO PLEASE DON’T RELY ON EVERYTHING HE SUGGESTS! EX, THE CLEANSER ISNT FOR DRY SKIN! 💕
@@mkel858 obviously he does research😂 but he does not have dry skin, so lots of times he may recommend a product and forget to mention it isnt for dry skin. not that deep just a reminder for her
So....I was looking ..not an esthetician, he’s not a dermatologist, and he’s very young. I am doubtful he is able to give extremely educated advice for people who are in the 35+ age. But I’m still going to watch the video because I love you!
he may not be licensed and may not be your age but that doesnt mean hes not able to give educated advice based on his own research. the internet is full of useful information nowadays, plus ive seen licensed people agree with many of his recomendations
Also Kathleen I have such dry skin too,.. sooo dry. No moisturiser will keep my skin hydrated. I always thought I was good with drinking water but it was suggested to me to drink an extra litre ontop of what I was already drinking as your skin is the last thing to be hydrated. And wow what a difference it has made. My skin is clear and radiant and most importantly hydrated
Dr. Dray kind of freaks me out. She looks like she has an E.D. and whether or not she does I can’t trust her recommendations because diet also affects your skin - and she doesn’t look like she has a healthy diet. She looks like she eats a toddler’s portion size daily and overly exercises. Just my opinion.
Kat! We need an update!!! I hear about all of these from Hyram and I am curious what your opinions are on them, even though we have different skin types hahah
I lost my granny a week ago and Kathleen's new upload is my happy place just now. Love you for being a friend in need without even realising it ❤️ can hopefully fall asleep midway with that calming voice!
Ily Kathleen!! I totally wanna see you testing out some of these products or maybe even just a video after you've tried them to let us know which ones you think are worth it and you actually saw a difference using? Pleeeease! 💕
@KraveBeauty Great Barrier Relief is a life saver! I'm not exaggerating but it helped my acne and healed my burnt skin. I grabbed a pan just came out a 350 degree oven, I put it on that night and I forgot about it the next day! My husband and I call it "the maggic cream". It never failed us!
@@Taravat76 I work at Sephora and am OBSESSED with Biossance! Their sunscreen is so amazing. It's cool because it's a mineral sunscreen that also has squalane in it, so it keeps your skin hydrated. Sometimes I replace it with my moisturizer in the morning because it's so hydrating (also helps me make sure to put enough on haha). I can only use mineral sunscreens because chemical sunscreens break me out really bad and this was the first sunscreen that didn't break me out. Their marine eye cream, omega repair cream, vitamin c dark spot serum, and their rose lip balm are really nice!
@@Taravat76 their tea tree oil cleanser is probably my favorite cleanser ever. I'm also a really big fan of their omega repair cream. That was the product that made me want to try more of their stuff.
I find the fact that people follow Hyram’s recommendations sometimes blindly a little frustrating. He isn’t a dermatologist or even an esthetician... I find it a little silly that he labels himself as an EXPERT if he is mainly an enthusiast without professional credentials. I don’t mean to sound like a hater, I’m not, but please do your research and stop treating everything he says as gospel.
He worked at a Youth To The People counter. That’s it. That’s why he calls himself a specialist. He has very basic knowledge of ingredients and doesn’t even understand formulation. It’s frustrating for me too
Yes. Agree with this statement 1000 percent! He’s not an expert and I wouldn’t follow his advice. Please.. do your own research and listen to trusted experts. Who or what is a trusted expert? Someone educated or licensed in the field of skincare or science. Hyram is none of this! Just because he seems confident doesn’t mean you should take his advice.
hyram even says himself to ALWAYS research even if they're recommendations from him, he starts off his videos saying that he's not a licensed esthetician or dermatologist!!
I LOVE the YTTP Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream. It smells like mushrooms which is offputting at first but you get used to it. It’s rich but still gives you a GLOW and never irritates!
Hahaha Kathleen, Yerba Mate is in spanish! It's a very popular caffeinated beverage in Argentina and Uruguay. Yerba is the colloquial way of saying hierba (herb) and it has a lot of good properties, it has been popularized recently in north American culture but the indigenous people from South America have been using it for years. I know you love coffee so maybe you should give it a try! they sell it everywhere in grocery stores.
i’m obsessed with the YTTP oil!! i have very newly dry skin and it has felt so much better since i’ve been adding 2-3 drops of that oil to my moisturizer. honestly changed my skin. i wake up so hydrated and my skin has been verrrrryyyyy glowy in the best way. and it hasn’t made me break out which makes it a 10/10 for me
Hyram talks in such absolutes that it comes off as confidence and it convinces people to follow whatever he says. If he had a science based background he would know that there are nuances to all products and ingredients, and reasons why they'll work for some and not for others. He's not an expert, he's not a scientist, he's another unqualified person who inserts himself into the conversation.
This exactly! He should not be promoted, endorsed, or even mentioned when there are more knowledgeable skincare experts out there who can explain the science behind formulations.
While this is true, he does frequently state that he is not an aesthetician or a dermatologist and is just an enthusiast. However, he does work as a skincare specialist and have a lot of knowledge about ingredients and how they work with different skin types. I'm not saying he's the best out there, but he does know his stuff and explain the science in most of his videos that I've seen and has helped a lot of people. Here is the disclaimer on his channel if you're curious! Please don't take this as an attack, I'm just trying to help give insight into what he does! Good vibes :) "DISCLAIMER: I am a skin care specialist, facilitating skin consultations daily. I am, however, not a dermatologist or a licensed esthetician. I don't claim to know as much/more than industry professionals. I do my best to research ingredients, products, and skin care strategies from a scientifically justified standpoint. As with every product, just because it works for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you! All positivity and love :)"
@@allyouneedislove121 “skincare specialist” means nothing. It doesn’t mean you have been trained or educated in anything. It’s a job title. Like how Subway workers are called “sandwich artists”. He used to work at a YTTP counter and was told which of their products to recommend to customers. He does not have a lot of knowledge about ingredients and how they work for different skin types, and it shows in his videos. He literally just googles ingredients which anyone can do. Also he gives very broad and not exactly correct information on how products work. For example, he says AHAs are for normal to dry skin and BHAs are for normal to oily skin. He doesn’t even realise that having dry skin in no way means that you don’t get breakouts and clogged pores and that anyone can benefit from using BHAs. He also claims that Korean products are just way more advanced and superior to the rest of the world (example, when talking about Purito). Myself and others brought up the fact that the filters used in the SPF he recommends were simply at too low of a concentration to provide the protection they claimed and many people have reported getting burnt. He responded saying that we were wrong and Korean SPF formulations were just that good. And guess what? He was wrong. Yes he has a disclaimer but he still titles his videos with “specialist reacts” as if it means something and teenagers fall for it. He also talks with such absolutes and certainties as if what he is saying is fact and there can be no other way. His has this whole attitude like he knows everything when in reality, skincare is very personal and kids are taking his words as gospel and arguing with real experts because of crap he has said
I have sensitive skin, as well, and Krave Beauty’s GBR is AMAZING. 👏🏼 The Inkey List’s Oat Cleanser is a great first cleanse- so gentle. You should try it! FAB’s Ultra Repair Cream is amazing, too. Ahhh! You bought so many great products!
Oh Kathleen, he is unqualified self proclaimed expert without any background in science or anything to do with skincare. Plus his skin type is opposite from yours. Xxxx
He didnt label himself as specialist. Thats only on his video title (a clickbait obv), but during the video he will explain a long paragraph abt how he’s not an expert, he also put that on his description box as well. Also hyram’s recommendation is obv only a recommendation bc of its good ingredients (doesnt mean it’ll 100% suit you.) His knowledge abt skincare is factually true, he’s not lying and dermatologist literally mentioned the same thing as him abt products on his videos. skincare education shouldnt only be shared by dermatologist only. If u Know abt skincare, u should tell abt it to people. You dont have to be a dermatologist to do that. And if hyram didnt know abt something he will say that he dont know and ask for ppl to go ask a dermatologist instead. So i dont get why ppl are bitter abt it bc hyram has helped a lot of ppl with skincare problems. Ofc theres lots of dermatologist channel on youtube but their videos obv dont get as much attention (maybe not as entertaining), so ppl dont know abt skincare that much and still use the wrong skincare routine. So when hyram blew up, he literally bring so much crowd to start using the right skincare routine bc it kinda became a trend. He’s probably got issues or whatever but that still doesnt change a fact that he has helped a lot of ppl and has bring people’s attention abt skincare education. If people follow every single thing that he says like a gospel then thats not his fault, ppl get influenced easily by him probably bc he’s a good influencer. Like i said, recommendation is called ‘recommendation’ for a reason.
i also gave into the hyram hype lol i love the face wash and lotion from ytp.. i was struggling with super dry flaky skin and it has helped so much!! i also got an overnight superberry hydrate+glow dream mask. so excited to see how the other products work out for you - keep us updated 💗

My holy grail products which are so affordable are the Alba Botanica Acne Dote Face Scrub, Salicylic acid gel and the Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer. On the higher end, I am obsessed with Kora Organics. I have the Radiant Eye Oil, the Noni Face Oil, Noni Night Serum and the Balancing Rose Mist. Amazing! My skin has never looked better and I didn't breakout at all. All clean and cruelty free brands. ☺️
I have dry skin and I love the YTTP glow oil! I use it in my night time routine, and even mix a drop or two with my foundation. My skin is so soft and glow-y whenever I use it!

Hyram is incredibly popular however there are plenty of more knowledge qualified people that will provide unbiased information (Hyram works for Youth to the People) Dr Dray, Doctorly(YT) aka DermDoctor(TT), Cassandra Bankson, and TheGoldenRx are all great resources with formal education on all skin types, tones, and conditions.
IMHO Hyram is overrated. Followed him back when he had 60k followers and grew bored of him. The mania around Hyram is something I don't understand. Kathleen, he is oily so his recommendations may not agree with your skin type. At least you both like live in similar climates I think.
@@caseyc2497 but he doesn’t encourage people to throw them out, he advices them to use them in different ways, like the st ives face scrub he recommends using it on your feet and in that case you won’t waste products.
@@fatimahassan2970 if the product is working for you the way you use it, his word on it bring good or not is immaterial. He, someone without qualifications it training, shouldn't dictate to millions of people what is and isnt good esp as he can ne bought with sponsorships.

Nope, a lot of people don’t realise that his job at a YTTP counter is the reason he calls himself a ✨specialist✨. All he does is read ingredient lists and people go crazy
@@GabbyJibblit this is what I’ve been thinking. How did a person who isn’t certified in anything become the number 1 skincare person people watch. Life is easy when you’re a white man
@@lilyphoebe925 exactly. I could look past him having no credentials if it weren’t for the way he portrays himself and acts like a know it all. He speaks with such authority for someone who doesn’t even try the products he talks about. There’s more to products than just ingredients. And the specialist reacts click bait titles... I like James Welsh despite the fact he has no credentials. Difference is, he doesn’t claim to be some kind of expert, he just talks about what he likes
I never ever realized this oh wow, I only watch him from time to time. I worked in Cosmetics for some time and have a similar philosophy to him, but I never understood why he was such a fanboy of the YTTP products when there's clearly fragrance in them. I tried a sample of the night mask and my skin burned so bad right after.

You are right Ashley, people blindly follow him when there are A TON of experts out there that are actually certified to give an opinion
I'm saying he's necessarily wrong, but he could be.
Flat earthers do their own research too, doing research without a science background is hard.
I meant : " I'm not saying..."
Haha I love how you put Hyram in the pic. I also buy skincare based on his recommendation. He hasn’t steered me wrong.
Try Krave Beauty cleanser! Amazing for dry skin!
YESSS all the hauls! I need more old school videos. Throwback tutorials pleeeeeease!
I would like to see a dr.dray inspired skin care haul:)
Yesssss 100%!!!
This would be boring: cerave & vaseline
The YTTP Adaptogen cream is sooooo good! I think you'll love it! It absorbs quickly without any sticky film and moisturizes deeply!
Kat! We need an update!!! I hear about all of these from Hyram and I am curious what your opinions are on them, even though we have different skin types hahah
The Ultra Repair Cream jumbo size is also a squeezy tube! (I think it may be an Ulta exclusive though.)
Great barrier relief is the best thing that’s ever happened to my skin
I lost my granny a week ago and Kathleen's new upload is my happy place just now. Love you for being a friend in need without even realising it ❤️ can hopefully fall asleep midway with that calming voice!
Ily Kathleen!! I totally wanna see you testing out some of these products or maybe even just a video after you've tried them to let us know which ones you think are worth it and you actually saw a difference using? Pleeeease! 💕
the adaptogen deep moisture cream is AMAZINGGGGG, you'll love it
With dr Dray's recommendations you will see real improvement on your skin without breaking the bank.
I second this
@KraveBeauty Great Barrier Relief is a life saver! I'm not exaggerating but it helped my acne and healed my burnt skin. I grabbed a pan just came out a 350 degree oven, I put it on that night and I forgot about it the next day! My husband and I call it "the maggic cream". It never failed us!
Youth To The People, I be been using their cleanser for years. I also love Biossance. They're one of my favorite brands.
What products do you like from Biossance? They all look amazing!
The FAB ultra repair cleanser is good too! It’s so soft/gentle and feels like nothing but still gets leftover makeup off
I find the fact that people follow Hyram’s recommendations sometimes blindly a little frustrating. He isn’t a dermatologist or even an esthetician... I find it a little silly that he labels himself as an EXPERT if he is mainly an enthusiast without professional credentials. I don’t mean to sound like a hater, I’m not, but please do your research and stop treating everything he says as gospel.
This.
@@jojogarcia26so why is he giving skincare advice to anyone periodt🤣
I LOVE the YTTP Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream. It smells like mushrooms which is offputting at first but you get used to it. It’s rich but still gives you a GLOW and never irritates!
I’d love to see more perfume related videos 🥺✨✨✨
Hahaha Kathleen, Yerba Mate is in spanish! It's a very popular caffeinated beverage in Argentina and Uruguay. Yerba is the colloquial way of saying hierba (herb) and it has a lot of good properties, it has been popularized recently in north American culture but the indigenous people from South America have been using it for years. I know you love coffee so maybe you should give it a try! they sell it everywhere in grocery stores.
Postponing my sleep to watch this. Love u so much kathleen!!
i’m obsessed with the YTTP oil!! i have very newly dry skin and it has felt so much better since i’ve been adding 2-3 drops of that oil to my moisturizer. honestly changed my skin. i wake up so hydrated and my skin has been verrrrryyyyy glowy in the best way. and it hasn’t made me break out which makes it a 10/10 for me
Hyram talks in such absolutes that it comes off as confidence and it convinces people to follow whatever he says. If he had a science based background he would know that there are nuances to all products and ingredients, and reasons why they'll work for some and not for others. He's not an expert, he's not a scientist, he's another unqualified person who inserts himself into the conversation.
Thank you
Absolutely!
Good vibes :)
"DISCLAIMER: I am a skin care specialist, facilitating skin consultations daily.
Xxxx
I don't know why people follow him so blindly, he's not an expert, he calls himself that
@@WYIN98 he literally says in the beginning of every video “I am not a skincare expert”
Absolutely love you videos!!!!! Clicked so fast! Your my fav! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
So excited for this! 😍 I hope you’re having an amazing day, Kathleen! ❤️❤️
i also gave into the hyram hype lol i love the face wash and lotion from ytp.. i was struggling with super dry flaky skin and it has helped so much!! i also got an overnight superberry hydrate+glow dream mask. so excited to see how the other products work out for you - keep us updated 💗
Kathleennn, that’s how I feel about your makeup recs too 😂
I use the youth to the people cleanser and moisturizer u bought everyday! I'm obsessed
The level at which I related to “I need to go, it’s getting late...it’s 9:24” is astronomical 🥴👵🏼😂
Oh I love skincare! Nice haul.
I have oily skin. No acne or breakouts. ☺️
I have two minutes left on my lunch and you just posted this NOOOOO

I have dry skin and I love the YTTP glow oil! I use it in my night time routine, and even mix a drop or two with my foundation. My skin is so soft and glow-y whenever I use it!
You should do a what's new in makeup first impression 🙂
Yayyy Kathleen moving to the makeup erasers. I know you looooove your makeup wipes.
Yassss Kathleen omg I got so excited when I saw skincare then i saw Hyram!!! Kathleen + Hyram = LIFEEE... on the same boat just ordered sm skincare my bank account is cryingggg 😭✋
This content is so refreshing! Who would have thought we will get a skincare video haul 💞
Great Barrier Relief Serum is also the best! Saved my acne prone skin. You can also put it in your legs, neck, arms, back, etc.
Yay! Was filling my cart with skin care last night so this is perfect timing👌🏻
Love the FAB ultra repair cream! I even use it as a hand lotion sometimes when my hands get really dry!!
I need to know what palette she’s wearing 😭
Skincare is so addictive! I love hearing about all the new things.
Please do an update on all of these products!! 💖
We need a video of hyr
am watching you do your skincare routine!!
He has one on his page!
The laneige cream skin toner is a GAME CHANGER for dry skin!!
I've never been this early 55 seconds later after uploading omg
I absolutely loved this!! I have the F.A.B Oat Toner and the Krave Beauty Great barrier relief to and they are both amazing products 👌🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️
IMHO Hyram is overrated. Followed him back when he had 60k followers and grew bored of him. The mania around Hyram is something I don't understand. Kathleen, he is oily so his recommendations may not agree with your skin type. At least you both like live in similar climates I think.
The way people will throw out products that are working for them because he doesn't like them
@@caseyc2497 but he doesn’t encourage people to throw them out, he advices them to use them in different ways, like the st ives face scrub he recommends using it on your feet and in that case you won’t waste products.
@@fatimahassan2970 if the product is working for you the way you use it, his word on it bring good or not is immaterial. He, someone without qualifications it training, shouldn't dictate to millions of people what is and isnt good esp as he can ne bought with sponsorships.
He's not a certified dermatologist or beautician, stop blindly following his advice
@@WYIN98 you have something against him personally? I see you everywhere, seems like you want to form a cult # antihyram or sth.... -_-
I’m also a fan of Hyram’s skincare recommendations! I discovered him during quarantine and I binged watched everything. I’m so happy he loves First Aid Beauty. Such a game changer for my skin. Been using for 10 years and I was wondering what he thought. I will continue to use along with his other recommendations.
Does she not realize Hyram worked for Youth to the People and had a conflict of interest in recommending their products?
@@dianarusnov292 he talks a lot of shit about brands who use fragrance but YTTP and Fenty and okay... 🥴 he’s such a kiss ass
Same girl!! I love KraveBeauty & youth to the people now too thanks to Hyram. You should really try the Then I met you living cleansing balm 👌
Two most powerful people on internet, that we make beauty decision based on 😘
So...I was also really bad at using toner, but I also love spraying stuff on my face...Try putting your toner into a spray bottle. Even an old setting spray bottle that has a good sprayer works well. Seee?!? Toner can be fun!!!! Thanks for the video!!! Love your content ❤️
I love the super Berry oil its grat for dry skin and ingredients are hyram approved. But he has oily skin so he did not like it
I LURRVE the YTTP superfood cleanser. It is literally my holy grail and it smells so good!
