- There has been claims that the show concluded with an original ending. This video is made in response to that ridiculous claim because it ain't true. Will there be a Season 6? I dunno.

The author himself did not say that we won't be getting an S6. He simply suggested reading the LN if you want to continue the story, which means he neither confirmed nor denied that we will get an S6, It's basically a neutral statement, and people are just taking the author's words out of context..
i hope that volume 20 will be the s6 and vol 21 + 22 being a movie

@@okami-z1b Basically with Mio dead, all the Sephira that she's created will disappear, everyone becomes human again except for Tohka as she wasn't born human as she is a Pure Spirit like her mother and while it wasn't shown in the final episode of Season 5, Tohka grabbed Mio's Sephira and created the artificial world as it's to maximize her remaining time as that leads into Volume 20. Then the final 2 volumes which are a two parter as Volumes 21-22 serves as an epilogue for the Spirits as this takes place one year after the battle with Westcott as Shido and the others have to content with a new problem, a mysterious Spirit had appeared named Beast which if you are ok with learning who she is, feel free to let me know.

After 11 years, including that several year gap to get season 4, theyve already done volumes 1-19, if theyve only got 20-22 left, why not make it, itll definitely make money and close out the series putting production in a positive standing with their audience

As someone who grew up watching MHA, Demond Slayer and Date A Live in high, it heartstoping to see these animes nearing their end.

I kinda want it to end here for real. I didn't want to see Mio die but seeing Tohka and Shido having a last date before she dies is heart wrenching to even think about. I accidentally got attached to their relationship and I feel it should just end here please lol. If Tohka dies, Shido goes into a Catatonic/Vegetative state similar to Zenith in Mushoku Tensei (Poor Zenith😭)

Tohka dies at the end yes but she gets revived after a one year time skip and is reunited with Shido and the series ends with her deciding to go to the same university as shido spolier by the way
You must accept it for it is the ending ORIGINALLY. Yes Koshi intended to kill off Tohka for good because she's a pure Spirit. Mio dies, she dies. If you truly love Tohka and Shido's relationship you will push on and accept what the original ending was meant to be. Volume 20 is where Tohka and Shido's relationship grows far more that they truly love each other that Tohka is shown to have hidden feelings of wanting Shido that her love for him doesn't compare to the other Spirits, her love for Shido is stronger, far stronger. After volume 20 the fandom was really upset, sad, broken down do Koshi eventually decided to make volume 21-22 and very likely used the fandom emotions for Tohka to create volume 21-22 if you pay attention to every detail from beginning of volume 21 to the end of volume 22. Tohka was brought back from the will of the world, key word "The Will of The WORLD" Believe it or not but volume 20-22 needs to happen because its history of the fandom with Tohka, something the anime onlies needs to see because Date A Live story from beginning to end is a wonderful story, not just from Koshi but the fandom love for the characters, especially Tohka fans like myself for Tohka. Not to mention Tenka's given name should also happen. Trust me the pain I felt of Tohka's death hurt me so much as she's my Beloved Waifu, despite what my profile picture is for TH-cam. I love Tohka and Tenka so very much that their death hit hard on me, I felt Shido's pain and loss of Tohka, his actions in volume 21 is exactly what I would do as other Tohka fans said they would do too and Koshi must've picked up on our so very powerful desire to bring Tohka back. "If you truly love Tohka, you will accept volume 20" - From Tohka fan who love her as much as I do. I don't write large comments like this unless I'm being truly honest for something I love. I tell you this because anime onlies should see what us the fandom have created after from volume 20. I hope you understand but I am open up to everyone's thoughts and I will say I do love the ending of Date A Live V❤ That precious smile at the end❤
Listen everyone, Tohka doesnt die in the end. She disappears into purple dust, but then she gets revived and lives with Shido happy ending. Also, she creats a world called the Tohka world so now everyone that is dead (including Sawa) is alive (we see her in the end)
i LOVE how the final episode showed Sawa! all we see is the back of her, so only deep divers will know for certain it's her. it's a nice little clue everyone is living in an artificial world, but at the same time it isn't obvious it's her. for the general audience, it just looks like some random girl kurumi is becoming friends with, showing that "the most evil spirit" is finally opening herself up to others thanks to her time with Shido.
How does she create her own word? And if the world is artificial does that mean that the people who died are not real?

I hope this ain’t the end, you said there’s a SPIRIT BATTLE ROYALE?!!! I’d love to see that o wanna see more of tohka and tenka meeting and being able to see each other I just want more, o admit the last few episodes felt a bit rushed I feel like the battles with Issac and mio maybe could have lasted a little longer same thing with the mio reine Shinji shido thing in their neighboring world of only it could have been even 18 episodes I think it would have been fantastic
Maybe it could even become a movie.
I feel like the best way to go about it is to make volume 20 an OVA, kinda like the final episodes of seasons 1 and 2. Then, the last two volumes could be a movie, which... considering the weirdly _massive_ scale despite the antagonist Beast being weaker than Mio, I'd say would be the best way to go about it. A higher budget could better portray all the glorious nonsense going on there.

I knew it! Unless the season is labeled as the "Final Season", that doesn't mean that supposed "Ending" means that the whole anime is over. For example, when Fairy Tail has it's own "Final Season", fans reacted exactly like with Date A Live, and what's coming in October? The " 100 Year Quest" series. Plus even with many questions answered in Season 5 they're still even more questions left unanswered. Like we know Mio gave birth to Shido and Kotari existed as a friend of Mana so, how did Shido end up with Kotari with the Itsuka Family? So in conclusion, there's still alot more to tell, the fanbase wants more, and as for profits, I think they're covered. Just decide on a animation studio because, I miss the season 1 animation. Well, until Season 6 is announced

Given that they still have the potential to deal with another part that the LN has...I'd say that another movie is possible, but definitely not another season. Cause spoilers.....
There's still some afterstory stuff, mainly dealing with "Beast", who is basically Tohka from another timeline but gone fully mental after losing her timeline's Shido, stealing all the powers of the other spirits while going on an endless rampage.

I think its a good ending cause if mio and tohka died the same episode it will be a bad ending for me so i think tohka and shido's final date feels more interesting
It wouldn’t be the same episode. Tohka’s death would happen a few episodes into season 6 if it ever came to be. The final arc also gives lots of closure and new layers of depth to each spirit.
@@drchristophe207 But there's not enough budget for season 5 that's why they made the ending like that. It would be a major cliffhanger and a disappointment if they can't make a season 6 with a loose ending season 5. The CGI is already an indication that they have budget issues. It's better to lower expectations or don't expect at all than wait for we don't know how long or if it will be ever be i think that's what season 5 subliminal message is.
All i will say is we need to see the beast arc and proof that kurumi is the best character in the whole date a live world
beast arc focuses on tohka and Shido more then kurumis entire flop career just like how date a live is centered on the tohka x Shido ship😂🙏

@@animeguy2099 it wasn't tohkas fault she disappeared, Shido even regretted not saving her even it if wasn't possible at all, Shido and tohka have a similar relationship to Shinji and Mio and its honestly wholesome, since tohka confessed she genuinely loved Shido even if she wasn't familiar with the feeling, and Shido confessed to beast about his feelings too which Is why tohka came back 2 years later, and u can even say they officially date, even if tohka lost her memories but still remembered some gave her, her name

Though it is left open-ended the fact it didn't exactly follow exactly how volume 19 ended is the reason I'd say that the claims about it being an anime original ending are not entirely wrong. It just wouldn't be very difficult for any studio that might want to pick it up to add the missing context to fix it up. If this does end up being the last of the DAL anime then yea its technically an anime original ending. But I wouldn't get bent outta shape over it unless speaking to the doom-and-gloom crowd claiming season 6 will never happen because of it.
