- Hey you! Welcome (back) to my channel. It's so good to see you here. In today's video Cajou and I went for a nice hack with my best friend and her horse. I decided to go in a neckrope, because it had been a while and I wanted to have some fun with it. Cajou was the best boy during the entire ride... except for the end. I truly hope you all enjoy the view from behind the ears🤍

Cajou is no longer the "fat little pony" you once said he was. But that was miles ago.
That was the OLD him he flipped a new mile
Great video, thanks for taking us along . When he took off you were very good at controlling your fear and you rode though it splendidly !!! Good Job!!! Greetings from Pennsylvania 😊🐕🐾🐾💕🐾🐾💕
Thank you so much!
Absolutely love this, I was so thrilled to see you riding without a bridle. Haven’t seen your channel before. He’s so good, the little dash was just cheeky, though I held my breath when he cut the corner! Typical pony sense of humour 😂 Great video!
I held my breath when he cut the corner as well🥲 Thanks for your amazing comment🥰
I love this so much and I can’t describe the joy in my heart seeing you riding bridless! You rode through that so well you have an amazing bond with that pony and his fluffy mane is to die for😍
Ooh he's been waiting to do that there for a while it looked terrifying from this position! Well sat and calm, and naughty cajou half a carrot today 😂❤
I love cajou with my whole heart❤❤
“thats poop nom nom nom” I bursted out laughing
When you say look left and look right at the road crossing and Cajou looked it was so cute!!! 😊❤
Adorable video, commendable how you ride and enjoy your pony. Such beautiful riding trails. Wish I was there❤
I’ve missed you! TH-cam stop notifying me about your videos! Glad to see ya up there now though. ❤️❤️❤️
I've been watching you for a few weeks now but I love the way wen you say walk even if. He doesn't stop you will still please him😀🐴
Great video! ☺ Have you considered a bidless bridle for Cajou?
yups we've got one!
Thank you for this wonderful video 😂❤
I love how u are constantly telling ur horse how good he is ( btw this is coming from someone who has never ridden a horse before but is trying horse riding soon do u have any tips for beginners ? )
Yeah, don't hold the reins too tight in your hands the horses can feel the tension in the reins in their riders hands and don't try riding on a green sticked horse their so uncontrollable I know that for a fact since I've ridden one called Mouse darn thing went barn sour on me.
And make sure to move with the horse as it walks and try not to bounce apon the horses back if their trotting because this hurts them.
It is also much safer to ride a gelding their much calmer and easy going.
@@Alex-ft1df okay thanks so much !
@@AvaThornton-dd8if your welcome good luck.
I was worried that he would just keep galloping. We're you riding bareback? I couldn't tell. Love your videos. From Ontario, Canada.
there was saddle squeaks so just bridleless i think
0:21 She was in a saddle proven at this point 🩵
yups I was in a saddle :)) and the thing is: I trust this horse with my life, because I know that in moments like this he does stop and just wants to joke around and have fun a bit :))
@@cajouandcoit’s good you have a horse to trust with your life
What type of bridle are you using and what in the world why are you making different sounds to your horse
I wasn't using any bridle and the different sounds are different commands since I like to use a lot of vocal cues :))
I love cajou
This is very similar to one of your previous videos when cajou “took off”, about a year ago!
Hahah yups, I guess this is his favorite time of year to take off🤣 So nice to hear you've been watching my videos🥰
are you guys from beluim or belgie idk how to type it in english i can understand the dutch but very good training u have done with ur horse he is very well behaved exept for that one moment of course.
ahw thanks! Yeah we're from Belgium🤗
did he stop on his own or did you stop him
he stopped on his own, he was like "yeah alright, I've had my fun now"
Fun ride
#pov: when u forgot ur bridle at home 😂😂
Omg so early! I am gonna watch now 🫶🏼 I think I’m first and I’ve only been subbed to your channel for a bit, Cajou is adorable! Being taken of with is the worst and very scary! Maybe pin? It’s okay if not 🩵
Which is the best brand to buy horse accessories and gears
That all kind of depends on the stuff you like! there's so many good brands out there!
That was NOT a horse taking off on you! When a horse bolts, he goes much faster than that. It was very short-lived and not any faster than you'd been going previously.
I never said he bolted ;)) I said he took off with me, which he did as I didn't give him any command to start running. On the contrary, I was giving signals to hold back. The thing is: I lost control for a moment, even if it was short (the hill helped a bit), he definitely picked the pace up and went a whole lot faster than we did before. You see: I don't mind him running for a second as I know that I'll always regain control and find the best way to communicate again. The scary thing here was the fact that it was downhill, the fact that he cut the corner not knowing what was underneath the leaves (risk of tripping) and the fact that I had my friend behind me on a horse with seperation anxiety😅
i only ride like that in a very small paddock
that's how we started out, then started doing small tours outside and now we can do the big tours as well, not without risks as you can see. But then again, they're still animals with a mind of their own and you can never be sure of what they're going to do next. So the risk is something I happily take, and 9/10 times it's absolutely perfect
When does he take off then
I think it was around 9:41. The rider quickly got him under control though
@@thatpaintmareoh thxx
Do you have no bridle on?
Well maybe she does.
Some people use a rope rein that goes around their horses neck when they ride. Its called free riding I think.
no i don't :)
@@cajouandco oh wow great control!!
ugh, i hate it when they do that trick. I'm just glad he remembered he was meant to slow down at the top of the hill lmao
hahah yeah, he just wanted his little fun and was totally satisfied afterwards hahahah
@@cajouandco oh yeah. i caught that lil look back at you afterwards, can almost hear the giggles. he's too cute, n he knows he can use it to his advantage lol
is cajou urs now?!?!
nopes I still don't own him, but since I take care of him and ride/train him he basically feels as my own :))
@@cajouandco oh yea! i understand!
Nrck rope? Seriously?
yeah :))
Do,u speak dutch or French in ur video’s ?
Both! :))
@@cajouandco me too :) does it mean u live in Belgium cause I do 💗💗
@@cajouandco also love ur vids
@@Emmasequestrianworld yups I live in Belgium!
@@Emmasequestrianworldahw thank you so much🤗
I didnt see him take off on you at all in this vid; looks like he was doing what you told him to pretty much.
ahw thanks girly x
Sorry, I will never understand why people go offroad without a bit.
You mean a bridle- a bit dosent do much extra
Hi IS that adviceradl NOT to US a bridle of some sort or an othere .AS that WAS an open space, TAKE CARE both .And all the best. ☺☺👍👍💖💟
Sorey if I’m rude love your vid
dankjeeeee
❤❤@@cajouandco
No wonder the pony took off with you you had a. Neck rope on and no bridle
Or did you i need the just a neckrope
don't worry about being rude, you're not! The thing is: whether we're riding in a neckrope or a bridle, these things happen. He's run off with the bridle before and he has behaved perfectly with the neckrope before. So it really just depends from ride to ride. On top of that; Cajou really is a horse with a mind of it's own. Sometimes I just have to let him do his thing in order to be able to perfectly work together again. Give and take, ya know? 🤗
Is the other horse okay? He coughs very often.
Yeah he's good, it's my friend's horse. The vet came to check him out, but it's nothing🤗
nieuwe abonnee :D
Sorry*
Maybe he’s not your horse. Maybe you are his human.🤔
probably
🐴🐴🐎🐎👩❤️👩🥰😘☺️😍♥️💖💝💞🇱🇾
CLICKBAIT no-one took off
He did at the end though🤗
Cajou did at the end
9:42 it’s pretty obvious
Haaaaaaaaaa use a bit?? Lol
I ride both with a bit, bitless and in a neckrope. This situation can happen with either of those options. Cajou is a horse with a mind of his own, luckily we understand each other and I know how to deal with stuff like this 🤗
