I received my clips and corrugated plastic today and I just want to say Thank You for sharing this genius idea!! My eyes no longer have to be blinded by my white sketchbook. The diffuser is so lightweight and I can cut the corrugated plastic to size. I briefly tested it outside and it is perfect. I just hope the plastic clips last! Thanks so much!!
@@SiningniSing I follow him but I don’t think he brings everything. So I got the idea from you to use a ‘corrugated white board’ with that double ended clip. That’s something I’ve been looking for, so thanks! Hope the materials I ordered (esp. the clip) work.
Lovely video and great setup items! I was wondering about using Coroplast as a light diffuser. Great to know it works. Can you connect the two clips you have end to end (the clamp holding onto the other clamp and extend the "arm" to twice the length? I saw another artist use a Wimberley Plamp II which was $50! OUCH!
Casein is a milk-based paint that used to be popular, especially before acrylics came out. It resembles gouache when wet, but seems permanent once dry. James Gurney uses them a lot and he has a number of videos on them that you may want to check out.
@@SiningniSing thankyou for that information, now I think about it I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of a long time ago, think I’ll just stick to watercolours though.
Such a well thought out kit. Your art is amazing as well

Wow! Thank you so much!
Wow, you bring your studio with you.
I got the idea from Mr. Gurney himself. He has great tips on what to bring for plein air.
