Honestly, skincare is so important when you are a black woman. There are very few shades that match your skintone, so I need yo make sure my skin is in good condition
It's far more important as a white woman because our skin is so much more delicate. I took my daughter for one ride in the car to the store and then went directly into the car and went back home. I forgot to put sunscreen all over her. On the 15 minute ride there and 15 min ride back she got sunburned. Just from sun shining in the car. Now that's skin damage that will be with her all of her life. If you are white you have to wear SPF for everything all the time your whole life or you will age so fast. White people disregarding care for their skin is so common and we end up with age spots at 40 and skin cancer and actual death from not caring for our skin. I can see through my skin I'm so white, and though I appreciate that it's like that so I could easily absorb vitamin D in a cold/overcast climate, I don't actually live there. I live in a sunny place and it's incredibly skin damaging. Be glad you come equipped with some natural spf against the sun (even though its in your best interest to also wear spf). Not dying from skin cancer and aging well is far more important than a shade that matches your skintone.
Don’t forget about the “junk draw” in the kitchen too! Lol😅 Never go in anyone’s kitchen or refrigerator without permission first. Never walk in any home or family event (ex: birthday party, bbq ect), without speaking to everyone, especially the elder family members! I’m not African American but this is relatable. Especially the forbidden couch and the meds for everything. I’ve even got my husband saving grocery bags now lmao.
As a small town whitie the storing bags was a little surprising because we've done that all my life
@@ewdaddy7030 Yeah, I’m pretty sure this all an American thing since we all live in the same country, and have adopted a pretty similar culture, or how we do things.
@@viviellis4094 there are many people who just throw the bags away or don't use them at all.
@@viviellis4094 no the whole point of this is our an African house hold its just that america is where the African family lives so idk why you're calling it an American thing more like a African thing.
@@israeliana I don’t know anyone that does personally. Every white person I grew up around kept them.

Honestly, skincare is so important when you are a black woman. There are very few shades that match your skintone, so I need yo make sure my skin is in good condition
And black male…
💯

I’m sure there are more unspoken rules that only black folks are accustomed to! 😂😅

I love how many people across different nationalities are saying, “Same.” ❤️
We all have so much in common and I wish more people focused on that than on our differences.
We need to embrace our differences as much as our similarities in a positive way, too. The truth is, we're all different. But that's also what makes each of our families special. Blending in with each other only erases the history of each of our families.
