They never gave the full details, but I'm just gonna assume that maybe they only had their "active powers" taken away. Cromwell isn't just a name it's a Royal bloodline. It's not just their powers that makes them witches.. It's also in their blood. So even tho they had their active powers taken away.. They still had the innate ability to cast spells which is why they are able to cast a spell to take their full active powers back.
@@iamovoxo25 I meant in this movie. Edgar is seen taking Marnie and Aggie's powers, but Gwen is still in Halloweentown with Cassie so it's possible she didn't lose her powers
I like how Ethans dad strips marnie & her family of their powers & everyone at the Carnival sees creatures from halloweentown are not so terrible at all & Marnie aggie & Gwen get their powers back
Bugs me TOO THIS DAY that Dylan is RIGHT THERE…and yet Ethan’s dad just COMPLETELY ignores him. 🤦♀️ I really feel like this WHOLE movie, they just FORGOT Dylan was a warlock because it’s the only film in the franchise where he doesn’t use magic…… 😒
