Nice digs. If it gets hot there youll want to go with a lighter color pool. Dark pools heat up unless its a deep diving pool. No fun swimming in warm water.

North American Championships for IRONMAN 70.3 are there! When I bought my first house I lost a lot of fitness, I did all the landscaping, Irrigation and kitchen remodeling. I had no time to workout consistently. Best wishes~

Dope ass house Steve! Dark pool for sure, and in the backyard you should build big gazebo so you can have a bar and grill under it and a shaded lounge area with cool lights around it! Just an opinion!

Steve just watched your video, the theme you’re looking for your landscape is called Xeriscape. You need to try:
Agaves, Sedums, Yuccas, Prickly Pears, Sennas, Aloes, Sotols, Vitex, Desert Willows, Olive Trees etc.
Pali verde trees, mesquite trees, lots of cacti and agave, century plants, maguey, lantana, honeysuckle, all the drought restistant plants basically

Dark pool but minus about 20-30% darkness. Have a nice medium colour to go with the future green of the yard and match the house somewhat.

yuccas all the way, joshua trees also amazing for that area I would do a dry stone riverbed, and a water/fire pit feature on the patio, throw in some cool lighting for at night to highlight the yard. Also I would stay away from cacti for poppy, and I would go with turf for her as well instead of lawn low maintenance and save on the water so it can go in the pool. #utah #stgeezy #dogparents

Nice house! I'm not a big fan of 10' ceilings and too huge of house. Too much echo, mainly. 3,000sf is sufficient, if it is well designed.
I suggest cactus as your landscape plants. Something that doesn't take much water.
