I am from USA but always had respect for this band. Saw them in concert four times total. Twice in 1990’s and 2X in the 2000’s.
I remember seeing them Coors Amphitheater Chula Vista in August 2001. All I can say is Steven Page if you are listening, to at least do future engagements with BNL. This doesn’t mean you have to stay with them, just be with them when they play

    8:20 -- What a Good Boy
BNL's best song in my opinion!

This is the best version of What a Good Boy! I love Andy's piano fills toward the end.

Remember when Much used to play music related content? The "Glory Days" if you will...

the problem Much always had, even then, was that the network from Moses Zhamnier on down, was unbelievably pretentious. They took themselves so seriously that every VJ not named Dan Gallagher or Steve Anthony were insufferable as was the musical content. MuchMusic was single handedly responsible for the death of Canadian music as a commercial entity as mainstream rockers and pop singers were replaced by the poetry slam crowd by 1990. They never really recovered from this.

Damn they had so much talent I hate to say this but after Page left it ended for me. What talent they had. They could have made so much more hits.

@16:12 You can see Ed wearing a St.Johns Maple Leafs Jersey from NL. When they hosted the Juno Awards 2002 in Newfoundland they were said to have a ball, wicked group.

They don't carry themselves like 21-22 years olds. They always had charisma

I saw this a couple of times when it first aired, when I was about seven years old. My dad's name is Gordon, and so "Oh Gordon, Gordon, would you do that for me Gordon?" (12:49) became an oft-repeated line in our household.

Can you post more of the intimate and interactive video. My friends and I are in it (the girls sitting on the table holding the cute paper sign - by Andy). We can find any footage with us in it at all - would be such a great thing to see & show others.!

I was laughing the whole time. I want the full versions from the end!
I don't know what it was about him, but Steve should go back to that look if he can.
Also, at 42:52 the guy looks exactly like Kevin Hearn.

You know what..after watching this again and again. Steven Page should be thankful BNL stayed intact without doing what every other band does. Replace that member. Not saying that should have happened. Without the other 4 Steven Page could be working fast food hooked on coke...???

I agree that the band as a whole is what made them great but Steven’s voice is one of a kind and a good percentage of what makes the band. It’s so powerful, versatile and so recognizable. Not to mention his song writing that helped launch the band.
Again, the group is what made them great but he is a part that cannot be replaced (or removed, in my opinion).

      You can't replace Steven Page.
