Lovely video, and truly wonderful poem. I do think you misunderstood something he said. It wasn't that it doesn't matter if a religion is true or not, more that it's impossible to know whether a religion is true or not. For example I can know, as fact what I had for breakfast. I cannot know as fact a religion is true. With that in mind he weighs the value of a religion on the type of followers it generates and the values it promotes.

I am not disagreeing with Dennis. But, I KNOW that the Bible is true. Just like I know there is God in Heaven.

Dennis only the believe in the first five books of the bible. that is it and because of that he does not emphasis heaven or hell. it is not even clear that he believes in life after death. What you do on earth is the only thing that matters, not your motives but what you do.

You are correct, sir. It’s easy to get along wit most people, and be liked by many, wit a worldview like dat. Most people believe in da religion of, “Hey, just be a good person.”
Now, if ya tell people dat dey’re all sinners, and ya warn em about da dangers of sin and rebellion against God, and ya tell em dat dey’re goin to Hell unless dey accept Christ and turn from deir sins…. Even if ya do it in da most loving way possible, most people ain’t gonna warm up to ya too much and invite ya over fer brunch.

    Dear Uncle Murray
    Pardon I won’t always rhyme
    But sometimes I might
    Moses at Sinai is True
    While Jesus was a Jew
    What doubt of his Mudda
His father can’t be God and Judah 💁‍♂️
    There is only one Covenant
    Between God and all man
You can join Abraham, or not
But you cant start a new cult
Or if you do, it won’t be accepted
    Much like Cain
    or the Followers of Baal
Or even a follower of Paul
Of course I don’t know you
But most Christians don’t follow Jesus
    I don’t know why
    But they all follow Paul
Blood and flesh we cannot eat
Yet that is your Jesus meat
    I hope you get smarter
And realize you have a Father
    He is in Heaven
    And never sought maiden
    He made you
    And the whole world too
And if you want to learn more
Swear off the meat of a Boar
    For it is impure
    And won’t aid your soul
    I bid you adieu
And wish you all the best in life
No matter which path you choose
I wish you no strife. 😅

Tanks fer takin’ da time to put yer thoughts down in a creative way. I agree dat dere’s lots of Christians who don’t understand Christianity very well. I can tell ya dat dere ain’t one Christian who gots tings perfect… especially me! I’m da farthest ting from it.
You sound like you’d be an inerestin’ fella to sit and whittle and jawbone wit. Tanks again fer yer input.

Dennis is a wonderful man, however, no faith Except Christianity can lead to salvation. Jesus says "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" The other argument I will bring up is that all things that are true and good in this world do not come from people or man-made religions, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,"...Human nature is evil and corrupt. Only God can transform us from within.
