UPDATE: PayPal did the right thing! After having to escalate the claim to PayPal due to the reasons I gave in this video, Floating Center Caps stopped responding to the case entirely. Due to this PayPal refunded me.

You can NOT put a painted grill emblem on a Cadillac. You are right, the chipping will be HORRIBLE. I had Savage Cadillac paint one in all black for my CTS. It looked great. 2 years later? I've had to touch it up twice. Each time about 30 chips. Now it's just a touched up mess. And considering what you have to go thru to install it, they shouldn't even be selling them.

You can see that this is clearly a Chinese manufacturer if you play close attention to their videos and you can see that there are spelling and grammatical errors on some of their descriptions listed. The site is also clearly broken at times with text and images being cutoff on some pages.

I bought puddle lights from them for my Volvo. They look amazing! Probably a lot easier to make that versus a big lighted front emblem, though. Plus, puddle lights already exist on the car so these were just plug and play. The lighted front emblem you'd have to deal with new wiring since the car didn't have that to begin with.
If the price reflected the quality and it was cheap like an aftermarket usb socket with led voltage display and power button it wouldn't be bad. But with the price being what it is, needs to be quality with that price point. They're trying to pull a fly by night I bet
I think the price was steep, but I love mine, I get compliments when I crank it up. I got the all black one with the cadillac emblem colors in it. So instead of just white lights it's just like the caddy emblem. When there is no lights on atleast it's still colored like the oem emblem. So glad mine don't look like this one. I'm going to get the one for the back now also. Mine was shipped from WY and arrived in 3 days after ordering it. If anyone wants pictures just message me and I'll send them to you. Looks awesome, just a little pricey. Thanks for the video.
Sucks to see this modification didn’t work out! However, I have a bit of a side question for you David. Would you recommend upgrading from and SRX to an XT5? As you may remember in a couple of my previous comments I have a 2016 SRX Performance with about 90k miles give or take and I’m looking to possibly upgrading to a 2018-2021 XT5 (depending on price and options). I definitely want at LEAST a high optioned Luxury model, but that’s beside the point. I was wondering how you’ve liked yours so far and how many miles are currently on it. I know you’ve had some issues with it hence your previous videos, but other than that any catastrophic issues that may have led you to regret your upgrade from your SRX? Please let me know! Thanks. P.S.- I was able to get the wheel bearings covered under the extended warranty so those are now fixed FOR NOW! 🎉
No vehicle is perfect - and the XT5 is no exception. That being said, while I loved my time with the SRX, the XT5 is a huge upgrade IMO. Mine is a Platinum that I bought with 19k miles. Currently have about 46k miles on it. No regrets.

I bought a set of lighted rings for my Audi. The quality was such that I would never go through the process of replacing the factory grill badge. I just threw it in the trash.

There are several 'companies' with LED emblems, but if it look closely at the quality and similar poor English I bet they are all coming out of the same place...

The appearance and quality of workmanship is so worth only $10, but for what they sell for, I would not buy one for my caddy. Just the look of this on the car would de-value it just because it looks so cheap.
The price definitely doesn't match the quality and the fact that you can't service the led when they break means those little guys are going to cook themselves to death If it was in the$20-$30 range I'd probably play with one, thanks for the review.
I agree I would not want this on my 2019 xt5 shame on them for not owning up on a cheap product After all they don't care what vehicle it goes on as long as they make some profit .

I thought about getting this for my XT5, but now I'm not so sure. They should have vacuum metalized the chrome trim as a separate piece.
