is each seed in the pod genetically identical? Are the two pods from one flower genetically the same? is each pod unique or will each seed resilt in a unique plant/flower?
Seedlings are very unpredictable. Some in the same pod can be identical to the parent tree while others can be variations to completely new color varieties. This is due to environmental changes, possible cross pollination and others. It usually takes a seedling till it’s third blooming cycle to show the true color that the tree will retain.
My plumeria are still in the 9oz solo cups. They are growing about 5” tall now. Some of new leaves are turning yellow. What is wrong? I live in Inlet Beach, Fl.
Normal for leaves to yellow and fall of as plant grows. They may also need to move up to a larger pot. Just be real careful when repotting. The root system is delicate and small hair like roots. Into well draining soil also
Spring works best as it gives you a longer initial growing season. But they can be germinated in either if you have the ability to control greenhouse type environment to prolong season
Do you have a recommendation for a seed source? So many look very suspect.
I’ve used Brads Buds n Blooms and Toadstool Seeds with success

Hi Greg! Thank you for the video..how old are the ones in your greenhouse that you say are the largest?
That one was about 8 months old at the time. It was grown from a cutting.

What’s the time to germinate spring, summer?

Did you put any holes into the solo cups?
Yes 4 small drain holes in the bottom
Hi thanks for sharing 😊
I just wanted to know if you spray some water after few days?
I keep them under a grow dome to keep moisture in. I only mist them after they’ve sprouted and started to grow and only if the soil starts to dry out.
Ok thank you very much I just put them in soil after the soaking I will see in few days and see if any will germinate 😊
What temperature was your heating mat?
90 degrees
