What a refreshingly open talk on a most important subject. Both women are noticeably gentle sensitive souls.

Great stuff. These conversations as Gaeilge are so helpful for learners. Other channels that teach a few words in Irish yet speak English for the full video are a waste of time imo, your channel really fills a niche! Gaeilge le Eimear was also doing a good job before she stopped posting.

Ah, I had no idea. If I can get through 62 years of this challenging thing called life and at the same time raise four children to funnctioning adults, there is hope for anyone I'm sure. Sending positive vibes and thanks for posting this Vid. You may not know but my career was as a Mental Health Nurse, so anything like this is of upmost importance.

I love hearing two people with a platform talk about mental illness. Having been on disability for schizoaffective disorder and generalised anxiety with panic for seven years, I can absolutely confirm how devastating mental illness can be. But there is a light at the end of the road if you can persist. I now work full-time and people accept me as I am :)

How do you say grandpa in Irish? Can you spell it out as it sounds please. What do irish children call their grandpa? What is most common. Thanks, love the channel. Wanna visit and keep language alive.

Dia dhaoibh a charaidean; cén chaoi an bhfuil sibh? I appreciate all of your presentations, but especially The conversations as they help my ears appreciate the pronunciation of as Gaeilge.
Mental health is important regardless of which side of the pond one is on.

Go raibh míle maith agat as amharc ar an fhíseán Alexander 😊 I’m glad that you enjoyed it, these videos take longer than others to make so it’s worth it when I see comments like this 😁 Meabhairshláinte is very important and I think we’re still a long way from talking openly about it as a society but bit by bit!

The Irish will not have so many mental health issues when the English finally go home.
