    I like that you added the disclaimer about being biased toward the P7CB. The numbers were all so similar that it just came down to preference of looks, feel and sound in the end. Or in other words, you wanted the P7CB's, and the numbers showed that there was no reason to not pick them. I had an identical situation but i'm a Ping guy. Almost no difference in numbers so I walked out with a set of Blueprint S

      @@1wfunston1 exactly! This was a confirmation of if my personal bias was getting in the way of performance! Ha

    It looked like the ping was tested with a S400, drastically different shaft than the LZ. Would have been good to see same shaft used for testing for head selection.

      Yeah these are all just stock offerings. Ping doesn't offer the PX lineup as a stock option unfortunately. But as you can see by the data... everything came out really close. I actually think having the DG in the Ping helped it, that head was small and hard to launch. So having that over the PX may have been the reason it was so close.

    I got fitted hitting off grass. I like to see how my club interacts with the ground. Personally I think it's better than hitting off a mat.

      Pros and cons for sure! Can’t control the weather outdoors, and with good mats like this fiberbuilt, the properties of a “divot” are similar enough to compare clubs. I’ve never experienced an iron fit (and I’ve done tons) where the fitted clubs completely changed off of grass.

      @SnoopyGolf 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@madefortherangegolf Would disagree with that. Srixon irons for example feel extremely different on turf vs mats. You get away with that thin miss on mats when you hit a little behind the ball with a Srixon.

      @madefortherangegolf  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SnoopyGolf There is a difference between turf and grass yes. But again, Fiberbuilt mats are pretty good at the simulation of grass for the purpose of a fit, and a good fitter is going to recognize "turf shots" and diagnose them. I've done probably 70 fittings inside and 2 outside. The fitter is what makes the difference.

    I hit the apex cb and clicky isn’t a term I would use. They weren’t as soft as my Epon irons but not many brands are

    No discussion about shafts during the fitting??

    • @madefortherangegolf
      @madefortherangegolf  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not for this no. Again, this was more of a comparison between 3 heads I wanted to test out, not a "true" fitting. Changing iron shafts isn't on my mind right now so we stuck with stock options that I know and play well.

      @@madefortherangegolf- that makes no sense to me. You are buying based on not even comparing at least 1-3 shaft combo variables. Okay - what is your stock shaft you already trust ?

    • @madefortherangegolf
      @madefortherangegolf  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jeremy7818 I’ve played PX LZ for 4 years. I’m good man. You must not follow me or watch my content on a regular basis, or you’d know that I tinker quite a bit and change things around, test new stuff, build new combos. This particular fitting was about testing the heads with the stock shaft options available for each one. I didn’t need to try new shafts. If that’s something you want in YOUR fitting, your fitter will be more than happy to do that. But that’s the beauty of fitting. Every fit is unique to the golfers needs.

    i prefer the look of the 2 gens ago MC that morikawa played. these almost look the same as Titleist irons. that bottom curve has no sex appeal. Really cant go wrong with any of them tho!
