It's a weapon attached to his arm that shoots stuff, for that, the word "arm cannon" comes to mind much easier. It bugs me just as much that people call Mega Man's buster the "Mega Buster" in 1-3 even though he didn't actually get it until 4, so I can see where you're coming from.

if u collect other figmas some may include a figure stand specifically to hold a figure's arm. u can use that for X if ud like. I have black rock shooter figmas (and nearly if not all of them) and they all usually have the arm holder (actually cannon but its served for teh same purpose anyways)
I really don't know why I love megaman !? I hate robots, I only played the GB megaman I didn't like the original TV series, yet my mind was blown when they recreated the EXE and Starforce series because it was so different..I dont even know how did I knew the characters.
I know why they haven't included a clear stand for the blast... cause they suck and they make the figures n the hole thing look ugly as hell & they know that XD Cool review pixel DAN. I like this figure. I might pre-order one. I definitely like the original color better. I'm not into shinny things unless it's gold ; )
As much as I like the MegaMan X D-Arts Figure, I honestly don't like Metallic. The shiny parts seen on X are a bit of an eye-soar. The color for the shine doesn't look right. . . I suggest getting the Regular X D-Arts Figure over the Metallic.

the green shot is only a midway charged shot, the blue shot is a fully charged shot..

Hey Dan did you get the comic version? if so are they the exact same but different coloring?
I hope in the near future the metalic paint won't flake like with Beat wars Transmetals figures.
If you buy 3 you can have a megaman with just hands one with dual guns and one standers one and they can all have there own faces to cool
