    Cathy Pellow owner of Los Angeles record label and artist management company Sargent House, has released a statement saying that she is "stepping away from" the company and closing the management side following allegations against her detailed in a video by Henry Kohen of Mylets.

    I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I get a really 80s funk vibe from the first minute of this. Zapp and Roger would be proud of their math-rock prodigal son.

      math rock? i don't guess so... it's need to be way more progressive to be math rock...
      It's more like Neo Post Rock to me(?)

    My guess is the drum sequencer has a function for that and he's working with tap tempo (but probably the guitar looper and drum computer are synced via midi with one of them dictating the tempo)

    @Aldaen I actually really dig the vocals they match the vibe of the song, I think it would sound out of place (but maybe cool in its own weird light) if a Josh Groban understudy was singing instead.

      Music isn't objective, but I feel that his voice fits the aesthetic very well. He benefits from the raw sound.

    Perfectly good song until he opens his mouth. Really not a fan of that teenage voice. But I'm sure it appeals to some.

  • @brandonbryson3317

    Very talented kid...just can't sing to save his life. I think he would do better in a band setting. An exciting live show is next to impossible when all eyes are on one guy that is basically glued to his pedal board the entire show.

    • @ButItWasBuddah
      @ButItWasBuddah 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually not true at all, saw him just yesterday and the show was AMAZING. The amount of energy there was was too crazy. He was also everywhere on the stage and his footwork with the petals and off was really something to admire.

    • @ButItWasBuddah
      @ButItWasBuddah 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Plus the singing is much better live, mostly because of the energy he puts into it. But not too good in a technical standpoint.
