Still come back to this every year. Still looking for that "way"
5 years later and I’m still loving it.
Cathy Pellow owner of Los Angeles record label and artist management company Sargent House, has released a statement saying that she is "stepping away from" the company and closing the management side following allegations against her detailed in a video by Henry Kohen of Mylets.
This kid is awesome. He knows exactly what type of sound he wants. Straight out of Colombus Indiana.
This deserves more views than it has right now.
Love this kid's music! He has a bit of everyone from sargent house in him! Looking forward for more
Goosebumps every time
this kid has some songwriting skills! great sounds too! very nice!
We want to be you when we grow up. Dude knows what the equipment is for!! Thanks for that --& your great(GREAT) tunes
Regardless of what you might think about this, it sure is inspiring. One man band life! Sounds great!
It's amazing. He's got style.
Yep! Awesome, enjoyed the vid ! Music is the prime invention of mankind isn't it? I'm very happy to be a musician!
Amazing
Very nice looping/texturing skills, brother. Really enjoyed it. Great job!
Coming out to Harlows to see you play tomorrow night Henry!
Saw him last night @ Masquerade in Atlanta. He opened for two other bands. They should've opened for him. He killed it.
I wanna hear this guy play with battles
this is great
Incredible!
Glad this was uploaded. Pretty damn good
Did anyone notice that dog at 0:24? Anyway, talented guy! I don't mind his voice. It goes well with the music.
one-man band, brilliant!
I'm impressed...
I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I get a really 80s funk vibe from the first minute of this. Zapp and Roger would be proud of their math-rock prodigal son.
math rock? i don't guess so... it's need to be way more progressive to be math rock...
It's more like Neo Post Rock to me(?)
NoLove DeepWebbb
sounds like post-funk neocarbonated dream geometry rock to me
batto you made my day :'3
Third Impact Yeah, I agree, he incorporates some great 80s vibes.
wow, just great!
I actually love the vocals, weird noone else does.
intense man. love it.
Love it.
infectious
get this man a drummer!!!
Look for mylets on Spotify! This kid can groove.
he's great :)
Does anyone know what pedal he uses at 1:00 ?
how old is this kid? he's badass
wait actually in the other video (ampersand at the end) it looks like it goes into the looper... oh well :)
god this sounds like it belongs in hotline miami xD love it
More more more
My guess is the drum sequencer has a function for that and he's working with tap tempo (but probably the guitar looper and drum computer are synced via midi with one of them dictating the tempo)
I see Brandon Laatsch has really progressed on guitar.
how does he make the drums loop? does he connect the drum machine into the line 6 pedalboard??
@Aldaen I actually really dig the vocals they match the vibe of the song, I think it would sound out of place (but maybe cool in its own weird light) if a Josh Groban understudy was singing instead.
Robert smith needs this song
what guitar is that?
so sick, someone give him a drummer please
let's dance
its a Parker guitar
Parker gtr....Telecaster edition maybe))))
Sounds like monster machismo
This song needs Robert Smith
Phenomenal
it must suck so much whenever he messes up on the pedal work
Why get another musician in the band when he can do everything himself?haha
NO that kid is" Jesus
The vocals aren't really good :/
Which is sad, because the music is really good!
Music isn't objective, but I feel that his voice fits the aesthetic very well. He benefits from the raw sound.
Thanks dude, I didn't know mylets juste released that. I've been listening it a few times and that's really great, a lot of evolution in his composition. Have a great night or day, sir ;)
It grows on you man. I used to f3eel the same way, but now he's one of my favorite vocalists.
Perfectly good song until he opens his mouth. Really not a fan of that teenage voice. But I'm sure it appeals to some.
Very talented kid...just can't sing to save his life. I think he would do better in a band setting. An exciting live show is next to impossible when all eyes are on one guy that is basically glued to his pedal board the entire show.
Actually not true at all, saw him just yesterday and the show was AMAZING. The amount of energy there was was too crazy. He was also everywhere on the stage and his footwork with the petals and off was really something to admire.
Plus the singing is much better live, mostly because of the energy he puts into it. But not too good in a technical standpoint.
Sometimes he plays with TTNG
