Questioning whether or not Penn State will be up for a HOME PLAYOFF GAME is wild.
they haven't had a big win under Franklin...
Why was there no DPI during the last play of the game against Oregon? What a joke honestly.
All you have to do is Score More points. They didn’t . ☝️🏈🦆🏆
C’mon guys, the only WR for Oregon that did damage was Johnson. The TEs made 4 catches, and the other WRs got zilch. That one mismatch (& one Allar bad throw & pick) that cost PSU the game.
all the calls went for oregon. penn state got hosed, literally getting zero calls why oregon got a ton of gift 15 yarders
that said. oregon QB is the real deal
@@stevegirard-voiceaudiopodcasts that’s why Tom Allen cost us the game, he only put Aj Harris on Johnson 3 times and Johnson went o-3 and Harris shut out their other star receiver. Wish we had another top CB
@@Thedrummerkid yep, super impressed with the 8th year QB, he moves so well in the pocket and gets great throwing lanes & angles despite the fact he’s about 5’10”. We had pressure on him many times but he just slides away from it, and always in a spot where he can get things done.
I really think that, like Brees, he has a legit shot at the next level.
That said they got what, zero holding calls…? And I saw 3 holds on one quick pass to the edge… and several holds against Abdul.
The play where the lineman was downfield and Johnson scored, I think Gabriel was over the line.
But it was really Drew’s bad pass/pick that created the difference.
@@Thedrummerkidwe will play Again and Remember, Doesn’t matter how you get there, a Win is a Win. All Penn had to do is score more points.🏈🦆🏆☝️
@@ThedrummerkidMay Oregon didn’t foul as much, you ever thought of that?
PSU got it made!
No they don't
Yes, WE ARE!!! Playing the Ducks in the national title game!!! Book it
Oregon did a great job, Big Ten refs? Not so much. Penn State needs to adapt to a world of no holding calls. Fortunately we get SEC refs the rest of the way
He’s wrong. It was scheme, not the OR speed. Tell Dave to layoff the pipe
If they weren't playing in freezing temperatures I'd bet on SMU. The weather is gonna be absolutely key. As an SMU fan I rather would've got the 12 seed and faced Texas. Oh well
3:10 Coach… I’m shaking my head too when I heard that take 😂. Penn State better get their heads right and act like they’re playing the best team in the country because SMU wants all the smoke! Never in my D1 playing career took any team lightly nor were coached that we’ll walk in and Billy Jack somebody. Wins are earned… It’ll be fun! Pony Up!
Yes. Speed. That was the difference. The fastest players Nike can buy
@@peterwhite7428Garbage, Nike donated almost every High School Football Fields in the whole State. Grow up and always Remember in order to Win you have to score more points! Easy! ☝️🏈🦆🏆😃🤣
Lol, did Wansted hit his head 🤣 on something and not watch my Nittany Lions put up 500 plus total yards, 292 running, 8.5 per carry??? Ok, Dave!!!!!!!!! WE ARE, they aren't
SMU is a quality team, not to be taken lightly. James Franklin can't win big games. As long as he's head coach, PSU will not win a championship. Even though I'm a PSU fan I wouldn't be surprised if they lost.
Smu isn’t a big game n psu rarely loses to teams they’re favoured against
I’m a Penn state fan too but after watching the big 10 championship game, that was the team we expected to see all year. I think and I hope they have finally turned that corner but we shall see. I think we still need to fix a few things mainly at WR and I think we need 1 big time defensive back that we can use to lock down a big time receiver. Other than that I was proud of what I saw on the field for the first time in a long time. If they would have played like that all year we would have been undefeated going into that game. I think good things are still to come
@@michaelbanze1079 Isn't a big game? This is a massive game, every game in this playoff is. Win or go home. This is a bigger game than the Ohio State game.
PSU 35 SMU 17.
@@michaelbanze1079 Explain the losses to OSU, Michigan and MSU when they were favored...
SMU doesn’t stand a chance against PSU. Not enough good players. They lucky they made the playoffs.
You going find out ,real soon northerner lol
@@keithreynolds4550Listen here Johnny Reb, dem southerners gonna lose … again.
I say SMU wins the game. ALWAYS cheer for the "underdog".
Don’t forget, to win in Football 🏈 you have to score the most points. If not you LOSE! Grow up and move on! ☝️🏈🦆🏆😆
We are not going to act like the Ducks or OSU fan base. SMU is a formattable opponent and got where they are because they deserve to be there. I know they want this win, so I am not looking past this tough game.
Sick of hearing it was Penn states best game. It was worst game defense had all year no question and the Allar missed about 6 passes he would usually make
Oh and four personal fouls they didn’t have that many combined all year
Let's get real, it was PSU's best offensive game against a Top 10 defense and Oregon's worst defensive game.
@
Penn state’s worst defensive game by far. I think both defenses didn’t play as well cause it was a turf game if it was a grass game might have been 27-21.
Remember all you have to do to Win is score more points. 😁☝️🏈☝️🏆
Learn how to capitalize.
How about pass interference against Oregon? How about illegal receiver downfield on a touchdown pass they let stand? How about multiple missed holding calls in KEY situations against Oregon? The bigten thinks we're too dumb to see them rigging these games but anyone with eyes that has seen football for longer than 15 minutes knows without a shadow of a doubt that the bigten rigged that game so Oregon won. That was an embarrassment to football and the bigten. If that game was called fair Penn State wins by 10. There needs to be a universal standard for all officials and they should not be allowed to be run by the conference because of the clear conflict of interest. The NCAA should be the ones employing the refs. This way the outside influence of the bigten cannot interfere with the outcome of the game like this so obviously did here. There is no excuse for this. Every official that worked that game should be fired and fined along with the bigten president. That was a black eye on college football.
Never give a Child a Participation Trophy just for showing up. They don’t understand losing when they grow up to be Ohio St. Fans and Penn St. Nitty Kitty fans. Just score more points and Grow up! ☝️🏈🦆🏆😁
Not to mention the officiating crew that did the Big Ten Championship Game was the same crew from the Ohio State vs Penn State game, which was also a horribly officiated game, which saw plenty of bad calls go in Ohio State's favor. The fact that the NCAA is giving PSU an easier path on paper than anyone else is basically them showing mercy for screwing them over many times not only in the Franklin Era, but in the AP Poll during 69, 73, and 94.
