I think this will be a fun high scoring game to watch. I’m expecting a lot of points on both sides. It will be a shootout not some 10-7 type game. I’ll leave it at that.
Don’t underestimate this team. Do I think Penn State is the better team? Clearly they are. But SMU is a dangerous team because they can be explosive on offense and their defense does a great job schematically generating pressure.
Dude said they played at Tulane so they’re used to hostile crowds 😂. For reference, Tulane’s stadium holds 30,000 people and Penn State’s holds 110,000. The student section alone is over 20,000
I have to say this man because I hate to underestimate good football teams and SMU is a good football team. Who have they really played? PSU is battle tested in the big 10. @@teekay_1That’s the team I was comparing them to as well, but I think they’re slightly better than Illinois. @ SMU 1st half offense only outscored the 2nd half offense in 4 out of 13 games… Maybe you should spend less time being defensive and more time actually researching your team😂 Way to play yourself… Must be that southern education at work.
@ and SMU put up 21 points in the 1st quarter only ONE TIME this year, what are you talking about?! You couldn’t sound any more remedial. Prolly just coping with that future loss.
Franklin will still call it a successful season if he loses to either Smooooo or Boise. But the season will in fact be #Wasted!! ...if PSU doesn't make it to the final 4.
Boise State always shows up ready to play. They were Giant killers. If PSU makes it to that game, can they completely sell out to stop the run and win?

Alabama. Big programs have depth where they can rotate players, particularly the o-line and d-line so it would be a bigger challenge. I don't think SMU has reached that rarified air where the second string players can compete for a starting job.
SMU is very good and the last thing we want to do is underestimating our opponent.
