sir i am preparing for UPSC CSE gave my 1st attempt in 2023, flunked in the prelims i did my undergrad from Delhi university BA (Eco+History) UPSC Prep takes a lot of my time and toll on physical and mental health I want to resume my studies and upskill myself and i am thinking to go for further education and upskilling My question is 1 Whether i should go for MBA or MSQE (I want to grow in life and profesional carrer), which degree will be more valuable in terms of carrer growth and salary 2 Till 12th, i was in Non medical PCM (91.3% in PCM) , In my undergrad during lockdown, i missed on a lot of eco concepts, also i forgot all my class 11, 12 Math concepts How should i prepare from scratch for IIT JAM and ISI MSQE 3 Sir you are gem of a person why dont you upload specific videos on specific cooncepts/Topics of entrance exam 4 What kind of work you do in the roles offered post MSQE and MBA from IIM (Please try to give specific and detailed) Help will be highly appreciated
From above I understand you did B.A programme. Believe me M.A economics is all mathematical. In B.A. program they do not teach, Intermediate micro and in masters everything is above intermediate. For Masters in Economics Mathematics should be awesome otherwise you'll struggle a lot. If you think you can do the mathematical part, then go and join the coaching and prepare well. For MBA I don't have much idea. Talking about myself I also did B.A( Maths + eco) from DU and M.A. Financial Economics from Madras School of Economics. And last thing gap year doesn't matter much if your academic scores are good. For example someone having 4 years' gap also got placed at 12 Lakh from MSE. All the best
Ask yourself what you really study on a day to day basis. It could be any subject. Maybe Economics or history or sociology or science or finance or Maths or Statistics or Biology. If you observe carefully your routine you will find patterns. That is where excellence will stem from. Don't take my word for it. If I tell you something specific without understanding your ambitions and patterns, I'd not be thoughtful. So, ask yourself what subject interests the most and you are drawn to it on a regular basis for the last few months atleast. That will move you towards clarity
I have never heard of age being considered as a factor. ISI has a lot of Courses, which could lead you to Data Science. That being said, ISI is a research institution. Hence, find a subject/course you are passionate about. Career will come post that. Not the other way around As long as you are eligible, why worry about the interview now? Age is not a control variable, our preparation is, if we decide to get in the program.
I dont know whether you will reply to this or not... I have 4 years of gap in my resume... If i get into isi this year will my gap year hit me during placements??? What are the case cenario of gap years in placements
I have never heard this come up ever. As long as you are eligible, why worry about the interview now? Age is not a control variable, our preparation is, if we decide to get in the program.
Sir, you are such an inspiration ..🙏
Thank You!

@@RKUMAR-gg2unwhat is the scope of getting placed if you have 70s in pcm in class12
@@RKUMAR-gg2un how much do you mean by this 4 years gap and still got that high much,, is it really true or u just motivating....
Sir, what is a good course for analytics who are working professionals and cannot leave job for studies? Like ISB offers a 12 months AMPBA program
On the job training is much better than part time courses
I am like 30 years of age and trying to shift to data science and looking for ISI courses. Does age become matter of problem in ISI interview?
