Hi Josee, I am a new subscriber just today. I love fountain pens and love most Jinhao's because of the price. I also have a couple of 82s because I will never buy a Sailor because of the price. But my first lifelong love has always been books. I have too many but...books!! So I always have a book open close by.
I hope I may give some feedback to your review. By no means meant negatively. First off, Jinhao is a Chinese company and Sailor is indeed Japanese (1:50). Could you consider changing the camera angle if possible, Now, your hand is the main focus, instead of the writing? Maybe it is because you are left-handed? Also, you move a lot with your hands while capping and uncapping, This makes the video very 'busy', with a lot of fluttering. I hope your channel will take off and get more views. 👍
The beauty of these inexpensive J82s is to TRY different nibs and inks. I have the same beautiful colors, the one you call melon I call my "OG" (orange & green.) The translucent lavender and green is a dream (mine are Medium nibs) and the white/blue pastel looks very close to the new Pelikan Pastel Blue M200 that costs like 30 x more!! ($230 vs $7!) It would be horrifying to ruin an expensive pen while learning about ink and various issues. Experimentation has been the key to success in my 25 yrs of FP "obsession." I'm yet to spend over $100 on a pen, but through vintage finds and online deals, like these little beauties, it's possible to have a variety of pens and not break the bank. 🤑 Honestly, these J82s feel and look great-- not "cheap" like a plastic Shark or Preppy. Can't go wrong trying them. Enjoy and write on 🖋
I was shopping on the weekend and stubbles upon a store that had fountain pens and inks and such. Watching your videos, I paused a moment and thought “maybe o should buy some”. Then I looked around more and then I think I over thanked everything and became confused. Lol

yes!! I definitely agree!! , I love them! so fun to mix and match the bodies to fit your ink colors :) and definitely a FP ADDICTION :D lol
