Used to cause a lot of the fights at family gatherings because some of my family are the most amazing people in the world. The others are evil snakes consumed by greed and unable to look within. Years down the road, my mom and sister as well as myself have become a tight circle and the rest of them have been written off. My grandpa was the cornerstone of our family and when he died all the snakes showed their scales. I don't say i told you so I'm just glad that they exposed themselves and we don't have to deal with those people anymore. You keep being the responsible outcast and stay true to your values.

The difference is when I was in my teens in the 80s, we made fun of each other in person and by doing so, we learned that it's no big deal. Everything today is done through a phone and we can't see each other's faces....and many aren't dealing well. It's sad! We can't make everyone happy.
