Hi from Annie you have such a lovely family so nice to share their lives and cook with little ones, Love how you feed your birds with that special mix, the cats are behaving hopefully, I had my darling pooch Shayna poisoned by the next door chap it was his second go in the last month and dear pooch must have picked up what ever he threw over and she died within five mins droped in front of out fridge and table in kitchen the cat screamed a big meow to alert me I had just had doggy outside five mins ago and there she was dead it had been devastating and shocked me deeply upset about it all she was a corgie cross pomy hope god brings her back to me soon.

Isn’t it funny how the guys come around when the food is ready…lol. As much fun and a pleasure it is to have time with family, it can be exhausting. I wish that I could give you the bird seed cakes. My birds would not touch one seed on the cakes. I left it out several days. What fussy little beggars! Oh how I would love to have a peek at those recipe boxes. To have your mother’s and grandmother’s handwriting is very special. I read recipe books like some read novels. I seem to be able to know by the ingredients how something will taste. ...I saved this one to enjoy as I take off my Polish With you ! Also have to do hair, makeup and nails, for a dinner date with my precious niece, who lived with us for six years, as she “pays dividends” as my mother-in-law predicted she would.....by just her presence in our lives......so true ! I love your Littles and their voices.....so sweet a memory as my grands are all teens now, but our base is firmly and lovingly settled into thoughtful texts from the sweetest of them...even the big tall boys.....! Thanks for this sweet and precious memory-instilling times with my girls.....then clean-up, as I couldn’t say no to the 3-5 bowls of different colored frostings....yes, I’d be exhausted, but so so happy and pleased from these messy chatty sleep-overs we’d host.....

What a great day with your family…..the girls were really loving baking with their Nanny and did an amazing job. It reminded me of the great fun we always had at Christmas, baking and decorating gingerbread cookies….even the boys loved getting involved. One year we decorated personalized gingerbread men/ladies for each individual that would be having Christmas dinner with us and used them as place cards. Passing on the traditional family recipes is such a wonderful idea…..a lot of work on your part for sure, but just having them individually handwritten by you will mean so much, and always treasured. Loved joining you and Moose……just getting out and having a great time….thanks for taking us along!😘🤗

Yes, Deborah….I told that story in the My Early Years Series a while back….in the Scottish Part….I knew very little about cooking when we were married. Could bake a chicken,,,that’s about it…but We got some great cookbooks as wedding presents, which we still have, and I started pick\ing things up.Moose used to cook great soups and chowders when the kids were all growing up.❤️

So glad you got to go enjoy baking with the little girls. We have an all boy family so I don't experience too much of that although the youngest, 9 years old, is interested ...more in cooking than baking but he will usually bake with me if I ask him. I haven't tried out my Nordic pan yet...but soon! The girls did a great job! The little cakes were so cute and looked yummy. Nanny. Love the reciepe boxes. Just a wonderful gift. I made my kids a cook book with copied reciepes from my grandmother from 1915 to 1980 something. I took a copy of her 1915 wedding picture for the front. She was married at 15. She's sitting on the grass near Brea, Calif. A place called Carbon Canyon. It's so cute. ....the girls are so cute cooking. That would have been me the one licking the spoon. Ha Ha . Nanny, have you used the hair cream that has many brands? You are supposed to put on hair after shampooing then wait a few minutes then rinse. Too long!!! I put it on dry hair. Leave on for 15 min then shampoo. It works great. My sister and I made thr chicken pot pie. Yummy!!!! Thank you for that. I made slot of ingredients, so with what was left, I heated it up and pourd over noodles for another meal. So good too. ! Bless you for all you do. ❤️

Nanny it’s definitely the hair spray I’ve tried using the Firmer sprays wow went I start brushing my hair falls out .So I’ve been using a much lighter one Sebastian Sharper Plus . Great baking the girls are precious 😊 What wonderful treasure’s I have some of my Mothers my daughter had some framed there Beautiful ❤
I loved this video...especially the time with your grandchildren making the fancy muffins! They turned out perfectly! How sweet are those girls and their brother! For the last 24 years, I and my only granddaughter get together each Thanksgiving eve and make the pies and cranberry/orange relish for dinner the next day! We save the juice from the cranberries and oranges, add some sugar and drink out of wine glasses to celebrate our time together! We use a very old grinder that my Mom had that attaches to the table and grind away! She always spends the night (even after she got married!) and we have the best time. She is now 27 years old, gave birth to a beautiful son in March so we'll have to change things up a bit, but will definitely make that cranberry mixture together! Oh about hairspray..you may want to try Loreal Elnett Satin hold ( be sure to get unscented as the scented one is rather strong smelling).. this has super hold for updos but easily brushes out , I order from Amazon as it’s kind of hard to find.

I see that you allowed (?) the coveted “licking of the bowl”, about which they’ve stated...”um..my Mom won’t allow us to eat rotten eggs....” so, never once ever disagreeing with Mommy, And all her rules, (not always easy to uphold that silent promise I made to myself,to never confuse them with their facts and loyalty to Mom..........agreed, as her sister corrected, “no, Mom said Raw eggs...”

Yes, Deborah….I told that story in the My Early Years Series a while back….in the Scottish Part….I knew very little about cooking when we were married. Could bake a chicken,,,that’s about it…but We got some great cookbooks as wedding presents, which we still have, and I started pick\ing things up.Moose used to cook great soups and chowders when the kids were all growing up.❤️

So glad you got to go enjoy baking with the little girls. We have an all boy family so I don't experience too much of that although the youngest, 9 years old, is interested ...more in cooking than baking but he will usually bake with me if I ask him. I haven't tried out my Nordic pan yet...but soon! The girls did a great job!

Nanny. Love the reciepe boxes. Just a wonderful gift. I made my kids a cook book with copied reciepes from my grandmother from 1915 to 1980 something. I took a copy of her 1915 wedding picture for the front. She was married at 15. She's sitting on the grass near Brea, Calif. A place called Carbon Canyon. It's so cute. ....the girls are so cute cooking. That would have been me the one licking the spoon. Ha Ha . Nanny, have you used the hair cream that has many brands? You are supposed to put on hair after shampooing then wait a few minutes then rinse. Too long!!! I put it on dry hair. Leave on for 15 min then shampoo. It works great. My sister and I made thr chicken pot pie. Yummy!!!! Thank you for that. I made slot of ingredients, so with what was left, I heated it up and pourd over noodles for another meal. So good too. ! Bless you for all you do. ❤️

Nanny it’s definitely the hair spray I’ve tried using the Firmer sprays wow went I start brushing my hair falls out .So I’ve been using a much lighter one Sebastian Sharper Plus . Great baking the girls are precious 😊 What wonderful treasure’s I have some of my Mothers my daughter had some framed there Beautiful ❤

I loved this video...especially the time with your grandchildren making the fancy muffins! They turned out perfectly! How sweet are those girls and their brother! For the last 24 years, I and my only granddaughter get together each Thanksgiving eve and make the pies and cranberry/orange relish for dinner the next day! We save the juice from the cranberries and oranges, add some sugar and drink out of wine glasses to celebrate our time together! We use a very old grinder that my Mom had that attaches to the table and grind away! She always spends the night (even after she got married!) and we have the best time. She is now 27 years old, gave birth to a beautiful son in March so we'll have to change things up a bit, but will definitely make that cranberry mixture together! Oh about hairspray..you may want to try Loreal Elnett Satin hold ( be sure to get unscented as the scented one is rather strong smelling).. this has super hold for updos but easily brushes out , I order from Amazon as it’s kind of hard to find.
