I dont wanna take away from the skill it takes but..... it's on a LONG track, in the WET, in a GROUP A car. Very few people running this for WR because no one wants to do a 7 min run just to fail multiple times at 6 min. everyone is doing the shorter tracks while dry and usually not using the Group A cars since they are hard. On top of that he's using sequential instead of manual with a clutch and he's using exterior camera. He's making it very easy for himself, similar to what other world record runners do by setting the wheel rotation to 90 deg or using a controller
@@quistador7 which ones do you prefer to be the easiest cars? Because imo Group A cars are very good and handle even better than R5 cars. But this is just my opinion

The low HP and turbo lag means you really have to pay attention to your revs. The modern cars are definitely the easiest. While they are seem difficult at first, that's just because of the speed of the cars themselves. If you are really good at racecraft the modern cars will feel amazing because you can just purely focus on driving and you don't have to man handle the car. I guess what I'm saying is, modern cars are probably easier for a newer player to try and master, even if the group A cars seem easier to drive at first
I hate comparing things to dark souls but this really does look like the dark souls of racing games. Playing the demo it feels like it has a pretty steep learning curve.
If youre considering not buying it because of this, BUY IT. If you slow down a tad, it will keep you on the road long enough to feel out the car for whatever drivetrain you like (START WITH FWD PLEASE) Its so so so worth it
