You should sell a sealant for the concrete to the customer and it will only need to be redone every 4-6 years depending on the traffic and it will repel the water too! It's what we do with all of our pressure washing jobs. Been doing this for over 35+ years. And it gets you a repeat customer. Also you always want to cut the edges in 1st and then always work from the top to the bottom. Always work from side to side and not like he is up and down. Just a tip from a PRO! :)
Superb video, you guys are my favourite company to watch by far! Camera angles perfect, you're so thorough, finish the job so perfectly. Love watching from New Zealand.
Great video. Huge improvement. If I were the owner though I’d consider replacing all that cement and change the elevation of the grassy area. It sits up higher than the driveway/walkway and when it rains or you water there is no place for the water to go other than backup over the driveway. To me, the hardscape should be at a slightly higher elevation for drainage reasons 🤔🤷♂️.
The concrete is just old, the two apron pads are sunken down on the side toward the street making it so that the water gets trapped along the joint, an easy fix to this is polylevel or mud jacking. There is more than enough pitch on the driveway to shed that water toward the street.
Sure looks like that washer and cleaner were meant to be together -- a match made in heaven. The efficiency demonstrated by the couple proves that matching waterflow and surface cleaner size/nozzle pattern makes a helluva difference. I'm guessing you're using a 12" cleaner and a 2700 psi, 2.5 gpm washer? How close did I get?
Just bought one of those, but haven't used it yet. At least I know it works well, but I do have to get an extension. Now I know how to use it. Good video.
Awesome work! I’m starting a pressure washing business and I’m trying to learn as much as I can. Can you tell me what mixture of ingredients you’ve got in that spray bottle that you put on before washing? Thanks !!
Nice job but you seem to be working backwards and against yourself here causing double work. If you started at the top and worked your way down to the bottom you'd have only needed one pass, and there would have been less material left over to go over again with the wand. Just how I'd do it. :)
I kept thinking doesn't he know, if it drains down to work downward with it. Otherwise you're just making more work for yourself pushing the dirt back over work already done.
Nice video and transformation! What did you pre treat with? I only pressure wash my own driveway but notice no matter how slow I go, there are lines. Maybe pre treating it will help with that... Did you post treat as well?
What an improvement! I hope you got a lot of business from the neighbours. At 29:08 you can see some sort of stain in the middle of the slab. Is that an oil stain?
Just curious on why you do each section from the bottom up. To me it seems like you just get the clean part all dirty again. But that is just me. I’m no expert at this.
That house looks a little strange, no windows in front or lights by the garage, must be quite dark at night. Concrete looks amazing though! Happy Thanksgiving!
Nice video and great job! A few others have asked your equipment but you don't want to answer what kind of pressure washer you use? Just curious. Regardless, its getting the job done that's for sure.
i try to answer as many questions as i can! it is a briggs and stratton 3000 psi pressure washer. we actually just got a new machine though so stay tuned for the next video. thanks for the feedback!
Im curious how much would you charge for a driveway like that? There are multiple homes like that down the road and just trying to see what ur price was
I HAVE DONE THIS TO MY OWN GIANT DRIVEWAY AND I NEVER HAD TO WET IT DOWN OR SOAP IT DOWN I JUST PRESSURE WASHED AS IS AND IT CAME OUT PERFECT. I DIDNT USE ONE OF THEM LIKE YOU HAVE I JUST HAVE A SPRAYER PRESSURE WASHER
hey man, do you think you washed away any concrete she did have left? just curious how you balance the clean, with older material and the potential for increase in wear. Enjoyed the video, thanks!
It doesn't look bad but you'll get a lot better results it you go from up hill to down hill. You don't want to have dirty water flowing over what you just cleaned. Even when you rinse your still leaving dirt

Do you think you could possibly make a video showing a tutorial? or just giving me some steps?
Then he won't have that job with that customer for another 4-6 years, lol
Lol nice job 👍 what chemical did you used
Don’t you want that repeat costumer every year though? No seal and they have to come back
Bad for business though.
I believe Veratasium made a video on this. Titled “why we can’t have nice things.”
Superb video, you guys are my favourite company to watch by far! Camera angles perfect, you're so thorough, finish the job so perfectly. Love watching from New Zealand.

yes that would be a good idea! thank you for watching.
It's not cement. Cement is the binder in concrete. Common mistake people make. hey look it's a cement truck! No it's a concrete truck.
Easy, in a perfect world

With the sidewalk though, 100% agree
This was so satisfying to watch. Therapeutic to say the least. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I've Been looking into doing pressure washing a little and was wondering what kind of set of you had? ( pressure washer, surface cleaner )
dont use his setup get a real surface cleaner and a big enough washer to get the job done right
This the most incognito pressure washing vid I've ever seen, lol. Hood, mask, no windows on house. It's like mafiaville. Still, EXTREMELY satisfying.
😂😂 you got a good point. thanks for watching!👍🏻

How long does the concrete surface cleaner last in this video? I watched another video yesterday and that unit was bigger and had handles on it.

Hello, what surface cleaner and pressure washer are you using?

G'day from Australia, nice video, your technique is different but possibly more effective than traditional methods.
What GPM and PSI are you running?

I thought the same lol. thanks for watching and happy thanksgiving!
Landscaping with shrubs or flowers would help.
I agree. The owner has taken minimalism to an extreme!
I noticed that also. Weird that an architect would draw up plans like that. I wonder if at some point someone bricked over the windows?
Maybe a small time mob boss, worried about drive-by’s or surveillance into home
Did you get the curbs off camera? Attention to detail can make or break a cleaning business like yours. What was seen looks great though👍🏻
yes i did! thank you for the feedback.
Well done mate excellent work.
